I was on vacation the last 5 weeks, what has happened??

I just got back home last night from a nice long vacation, seems like a lot has happened since I left. The format for RF.net has changed since I was on last. East Side Dave had just started dating Casey(spelling?) and now he is engaged(?). Then to top it off I read that Gail O has passed away since I last listened to the buddays. I am mindboggled by how much I have missed while I was traveling.

What else has been happening the last month that I missed? What happened to Gail? Why has RF.net changed format (colours, anyway)? If anybody could help get me up to date on the show I would appreciate it. THX.

Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I purposely avoided the internet and the local news that I did hear never mentioned the Imus thing, probably because it was barely newsworthy here let alone on the other side of the world. I did hear about the Virginia Tech shooting, but not until I landed in Hawaii on the way home. As for following the show I didn't feel like searching down an internet cafe to check RF.net or listen online, I was either at the beach or on the golf course.

I owned a small oilfield services company in Northern British Columbia. I got an offer to sell it to a large conglomerate of companies and I sold out. Now I am "semi retired" and I work at a golf course during the warm months (Apr.-Oct.) here in BC, and then I have the winters off to travel.
