With my luck I'd win and the movie would be Power Pack.

Are they slated to do a Moonknight flick? He has been one of my favorites since I was a kid.

No, that was sarcasim. i despised moonknight. actually i never met anyone who liked that comic.
I always thought of him as the Marvel Batman, but without the readers

HA! You kind of have that pegged.

I was hooked when I was a kid - There was a Moonknight story in the last third of a giant sized Hulk magazine I picked up. His costume was cool and the story was interesting, so it made an impression.

Years later i stumbled onto the comic and started following it for a while. However, they ended up screwing up the character, as Marvel tends to do. I've always thought Moonknkight could make a cool movie or TV show though.

When I was a kid in the 70's Marvel introduced a hero called "The Shroud" who was an exact ripoff of Batman. He even had the identical origin story.

Even as a child I knew plagiarism when I saw it.

And here's his origin from Marvel's site -

10-year old Maxillian Quincy Coleridge was orphaned when his parents were gunned down before his eyes in a hold-up. Embittered, the youth decided to dedicate his life to fighting crime. Entering college, he studied law and criminology and began a rugged regimen of exercise to build his body to its peak of physical potential. Upon graduation, he traveled to Nepal to the temple of the Cult of Kali to study their martial arts and mystical disciplines.

Looks like Marvel updated the character from what you posted, Jake.

Here's how I remember him -

I entered, I wonder if you will actually get any lines, or if you just show up for half a second in the background, because I'm sure I could completely ruin a movie trying to say even one word on camera.

I picked up the Essentail Moon Knight late last year, and the 70's Moon Knight is some great stuff. The Batman inspiration is obvious, but once Wolfman finds a direction for the character, it gets really good.
