I fear that I may be turning into the board curmudgeon for always complaining about something, but I swear to Christ sometimes I have the worst luck.

Anyway, I've been craving fish tacos ever since I read the recent thread on the subject. Today I decided to go to Baja Fresh and partake of their fishy goodness. I placed my order with this cute, blond, 20-something hispanic cashier and then stepped to the side to await my food. The way it works there is that the cashier is also the food expeditor. Once the food is up she throws on some chips, slaps a cover on and bags it before handing it to you.

Soon I see my food is up and ready to go. It's just waiting for the hottie to finish taking someone's order. But apparently it's her break-time. She leaves through a swinging door and out comes this mountain of human flesh waddling toward my food. She must have been 400 lbs. Her apron is all tattered and stained. Her hair is just soaked with sweat and her face is just shining from the persperation. The next thing I know, she's pawing my food with her sweaty sausage fingers.

I tried to force down the first taco but my OCD and anal-retentiveness got the better of me. I tossed it in the trash before my hunger would force me to do something I knew I'd regret later. So it's Diet Coke and vending machine pretzels for lunch today.
