Forgive me for I am drunk. How long have you had it, is it progressing rapidly? Are you seriously at a risk right now health wise

My brother found out he had it the day of his wedding. He spotted the bite mark with the circle around it. He was lucky he caught it early. After some meds he was tip top in no time. My former boss wasn't as lucky. He had to have a nurse visit him every day in his office. Not sure what was going on in there though. Anyway....Good luck, and I hope you caught it early.

Dude, Relax! F_S Also Lives In High-Lyme Country (Hunterdon, NJ). Fat Gets AT LEAST 15 Deer Tick Bites Per Summer (Nature Boy Is Always Outside). The Doc Said: "If You Pull Them Off With A Tweezer Within 36 Hours, And Then Put An Anti-Septic Like Neosporin On The Site, You Will Not Get Lyme Disease".
Sure Enough, Despite All Those Bites, F_S Never Got The Bullseye Rash.
Every Other Year, F_S Just Gets A Lyme Test And They Have Always Been Negative (Although It Is Not A Foolproof Test).
Keep On The Lookout For The Rash, And See A Doctor If You Have Any Concern, But It Sounds Like You Got The Little Bug(ger) Off In Time.
You Ain't Gonna Die!

Hey do you mind Debbie Downer, we are trying to make light of your situation.
Now, I hope you didnt down load the virus on LymesWire.

You probably don't have it, but the second you see that bullseye rash go to the doc and get some antibiotics. Lyme Disease is more of a debilitating disease than a fatal one anyway so you should be fine.

hope you are OK SatCam.
I had Lyme's disease when I was 16 and missed an entire summer of fun due to it. The fever, aches, and not being able to get out of bed for days at a time sucked but the giant-sized horse pill antibiotics they give you to get rid of it are worse (not to mention the attendant inability to properly digest food and the constant need to sit on the toilet).
Go get tested in about a week, you will NOT necessarily get the rash at the bite-site so do not look for that as your only symptom.
I had a few years of minor aches and pains post-Lymes but nothing too serious, and after about 7 years everything cleared up. Just do like Dr. Joek says and take the full course of meds no matter how bad they upset your large intestine. And keep Naprosyn (alleve) handy, it kept me pain free on the best days and took the edge off on the worst days.
Oh, and
Good luck, bro. (If I had a Lyme's Disease Awareness wristband I would wear in your honor)
Hey SatCam - can you do us a favor?
If you die can you leave instructions for a family member to join RonFez.net and let us all know?
We've got a pool going and I've got a chance to make a lot of money.
Thanks.

Sat Cam, the ticks that give you Lyme are about the size of the head of a pin,and are usually only found around wooded areas where deer live. If it was one of those big suckers that you could burn off, you're OK..If they're small, look for the bullseye, and get help.It takes MONTHS for anything serious to hurt you

Yea it was definately a deer tick. Theyre very common around here and I had been in the woods the day before and the tick looked like a dot on my leg... I couldnt even tell if it was a tick or a freckle when I saw it.
