I Hate Shaving

I'm not a facial hair kind of guy, but I truly detest shaving. To me it's one of the most annoying chores on the planet. I'd rather do laundry or vacuum than shave.

Why can't they invent a creme that removes your facial hair? It seems barbaric to me that in the 21st century we're still dragging razor blades across our faces.

you should try shaving in the shower or after a nice hot shower, if you don't already. opens up the pores and softens the stubble.

I actually do this already. i shave in the shower, after I have been in there for a few minutes. this does make a HUGE difference. when I go away for work sometimes I have to shave outside the shower because I do not have a mirror in there, and it rips my face apart.

a few years ago, i was obsessed with shaving, i would do it three or four times a week. my goatee would have to perfect at all times. now, i shave once a week, trim the goatee twice a month and thats it. i try to get the goatee perfect, if i do, great, if not, that's fine too.

But within the past couple years I guess I've gotten a lot better at it. I am still on a slow shaving schedule but I don't cut myself up now.

plus with these multi-razor razors when you think about it the first razor that skims your face is gonna wear down long before the others but then you're fucked. you have one dull razor and most likely 1 2 or even 3 other razors that could have some use but the first dull one will make you throw it out or give you a fucked up shave

Electric Razor for me. I had an old one that wouldn't hold a charge anymore, so I upgraded last year.
Got this one. The Phillips-Norelco 8140-XL Dry shave razor. You can open up the razor head area and run it under warm running water and it rids of all the stubble. Just let it sit open and it dries off. Fantastic. Very low maintenance.

Shave everyday with this, sometimes twice a day(God I'm a hairy bastard). Then apply Body Shop Aftershave Balm. They don't test on animals, heals my face up nicely after a rough shave, and the ladies love the manly smell.

I've never used aftershave. I don't even know anything about it - does it just open up your pores and air them out?

To be honest I have no idea what it was supposed to do. It stings any open cuts on your face for a few seconds so not sure what that is doing. I always used it mostly for the quick sensation and the pleasant aroma.

I have that. I use it on my head if I don't shave it for a week. Then I take a shower and use Gillette Fusion Power. It beats the shit outta Mach 3.
