Listening to the older show, i.e. pre Dave, does anyone else notice how much happier Ron was, Fez was on point with his one-liners and even Earl was pretty decent? I have only heard them since they were on XM, so I don't know how good they were on WNEW. With Dave pretty much taking over 2nd mike and butting in as much as possible, Ron seems agitated and irritated, Fez seems to be taking a back seat ( I know the 2 stents don't help) and Earl is grossly incompetent.

Ron brought this up a couple days ago and Fez seemed genuinely hurt that people think his performance is slipping. While Fez is still not at the level he was in the best ofs, I think he's getting better. His lines have been pretty on point, just not as frequent.

I think you're getting your cause and effect wrong.

As someone who has listened since 2001, I can say that Fez sounded happier before moving to North Virgina (no offense to Bobo and others in North Virgina) and having a heart attack. ESD came along after all of that.

Ron sounds like Ron. I've heard him sound happy pre-ESD and post ESD. I've heard him angry pre-ESD and post ESD. I've heard him agitated pre-ESD and post ESD.

Jonathan should lessen his presence a little bit. When one of my exes met her current husband, we were best friends and I knew that our relationship could be tough for the new guy, who I knew she really cared for.

So I told the guy that I wasn't a threat to him or would do anything to wreck their relationship. From then on, if I went out with her, it was with them as a couple, and from time to time, I hung with him alone.
