I gotta say... from O&A straight through Ron and Fez, I think today was probably the best overall day of programming that was non-AFRO since the channel started. From the absolute hysterical 60+ minutes of O&A getting roasted, the two Bears, and R&F's show, (Davey's ginger time was killing me) it was really, really good today and made me feel good to be an XM subscriber.

What say you?

I wish I could hear it, but I smashed my radio in protest of the boneyard coming back.

You know what? You're right. Fez not being there immediately drops this day down a few notches.

But it's still a good topic: What two shows on the same day gave the best of programming on the channel ever?

I think in terms of impact, the 9-11 shows can not be overlooked, but that is such a special case.
in terms of comedy, I always likes crossover bit shows. maybe not AFRO, but the one that stands out for me is the Stalker Patti dewigging. O&A did it, and then R&F talked about it and took a lot of calls on the subject. That was a great back to back 2 shows.

I have not listened yet to today's shows, so I can not comment on them yet.

what their 8 minutes of talk and 13 minutes of commericals. or the PD who did not support the show? DC did bring us Bitz, JDubbs, and El jeffe though.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but...

This is not about R&F's best show OR O&A's best show. This is about the best combined programming of BOTH shows on one calendar day in the XM era, i.e. 6a-3p on 202. Not WNEW or JFK.

I can't remember the exact date, but there were a few days during the Homeless Shopping Spree era which were very good.

The AFRO shows were good, but I think they should be DQ'ed because it's always good. I was talking when the shows' personalities don't appear on other shows, unless it's Anthony calling in from the Shelbyphone.

I had been pretty upset that the best of's of R&F were gone and replaced with O&A replays. But today's bonus O&A roasting was pretty damn great. Patrice, Rich, Bobby just going off on each other, it was great!

I still would rather hear best of's of R&F in the morning!!!!! I'm actually not that upset about their vacation coming up because I can hear some of the old WNEW stuff!

Meh, the WJFK days were better !

It was pretty sweet when R&F would slide right into The Hideout - the night Fez and Jefe drank themselves stupid during the two shows was good stuff.

When they left Bitz alone on the air and he just went off, that was some of the best radio ever.

I didn't hear O&A. R&F was very funny, but the I had one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the volume control for most of it (and I'm not even counting the Sextravaganza). Damn those level sucked!

NO...Not without Fez, (fez is faster than those guys on O&A) and while the content was right on O&A ...what was up with the sound (especially on R&F?). Paul O hasn't been even remotely entertaining since (on WNEW) A.I. was the big movie to watch. You must have one of those new XM receivers that filters out the crap!!!!

It would have been perfect with Fez there. It's always disappointing when the show starts and you know Fezzie isn't in the studio.
