Does anyone else have this
where they can take a friend ship and forget it ever happened
forget everything about a person
and when you see them in public you dont even recognize them, associate them
can anyone else completely forget that a person exists when they feel that person has done them wrong?
It's easier than you think.

I hold grudges, therefore I do this. I don't think it's uncommon if you know who you are as a person and which people will suit you as friends. If they do something wrong that cannot be forgiven, why should you pretend to be friendly?

two wives, countless former in-laws, friends too. i do not hold grudges, nor do i want them to hold one against me. People come in and out of our lives by chance. Regardless of who is to blame, holding a grudge would help anything.

I'm friends with no one from when I was growing up. If I haven't seen someone in two months, they're basically dead to me. I've even forgotten most of my relatives.
I just see no reason to try to rehash these great times you had with someone five years ago when you've both moved on.

I have written off so many friends I can not count. usually because we were growing apart, and I figured why prolong it, just fucking end it.

I knew this guy named McGreg, and he held a grudge that ate him up inside. I saw, by his example, that I could never hold a grudge against anyone for too long.
It's just not worth it.

not too much of a grudge holder. usually after time you realize what got you upset wasn't really that important anymore...
guess it depends on how you're wronged...

Funk, this is how i feel also. No matter if i was right or wrong in the situation. holding on to negative feelings serves no real purpose. if the person comes back into you life, the best thing for both people to do is say "sorry" and move on.
