How do you know if you have the hell mouth?

My boss at times has some honkin' breath and he doesnt even know it. Its not like onion breath or garlic- its just like halotosis breath and Im pretty sure he doesnt know.
It got me thinking how does anyone know when their breath is kickin like Van Dame?...without someone telling you?

I used to work for a boss who had god awful breath. It was terrible. Everyone knew about it. I quit/got fired from that job, but it wasn't for commenting on his breath.

Perhaps your boss does know. Maybe it's in order to almsot torture his employees. People are fucked up.

I dunno. I usually can detect my bad breath or assume I have it after eating something. Maybe cup your hands in front of your mouth and breathe into them and take a whiff if you can't tell just by taste and the feeling in your mouth.

i always have some type of mints or gum if i ever think i might have bad breath. i can't stand people with bad breath and try very hard not to have offensive odors coming out of my mouth.

I'd suggest asking a friend. It would go like this...

YOU: Hey, dude. Do I have bad breath?

FRIEND: If you consider rotting corpses to be bad.... Yes. You have bad breath.

Now that I think about it, that whole scenario doesn't make sense. If they were really your friend, they'd just tell you.

I learned a trick for testing your breath.

Lick your wrist. Let it dry for about 10 secs. Smell it, and if it stinks, brush up!

I think it's hard to tell if your own breath is rank unless it's REALLY bad, so I figure it's a good idea to carry around mints and gum for regular use no matter what. Can't be too fresh!

One way to be 99% sure your breath ain't bad is to floss, brush, and wash often. And chew gum. I prefer to look like an annoying prick chewing gum than to be carpet-bombing the room with salmonella vapors.

I'll admit it.. sometimes my breath stinks to high fuck.

It sucks. I can't tell at all. The only time I know is when my wife tells me. She said she could smell it every time I turned my head watching Pirates III. She said she felt bad for me so she didnt say anything..

It's like being an operator of a lighthouse that projects ass instead of light...
