View Full Version : Rita's Ices Appreciation Thread
I got hooked on Rita's (http://www.ritasice.com/) Ices when I was going to college and now there is a new one down the street from me. I go a couple times a week and can never get enough. I love the mint chocolate chip ice or misto.
I've noticed more of them popping up around Jersey. Anyone else hooked?
Oh BTW if you go to the website turn your volume down. I had my volume up and that horrible song started playing and I almost shit myself.

Well, Rita's is based out of Bucks County, so it's not a shock you see more and more of them popping up in Jersey.
I like the custard.

There's One On Route 31 Half-Way Between Clinton And Washington, And One In Hackettstown...Both About Equal Distance From F_S. Fat's Always Surprised That They Have Their Own Little Buildings, And Yet Are Only Open 5 Months A Year. With Real Estate Prices And Property Taxes What They Are, F_S Is Surprised They Make Enough To Make It Worthwhile. But They Are Not Stupid, So They Must.

I love the Mango Italian Ice. I am not big on desserts, but it is fruity-liscous.

We've had a Rita's down here for a few years. I've yet to go. Maybe I will, now.

The only ices worth having. I'd take the long way to work from time to time just to have an orange ice.

Has anybody tried Bruster's? I think they do regular icecream and ices, however I have never tried them.

Love getting some Rita's in the summer. I got one just down the block from me.
But I agree that Lemon Ice King of Corona is the best. Always make the short trip when I head out to Shea. Actually, I'm going Wednesday. Anyone want me to pick something up???

i love you!
Back atcha... Ever had the Peanut Butter Ice thats also a good 1. I love to mix them & make up my own flavors. If you mix the jelly ring with the peanut butter you get a chocolate peanut & jelly goodness ice.
& this king of ices is Lemon the only flavor he has?
