i was happy till the last half an hour they just jammed way to much together with little to no explanation or reaction to major things.

Saw it last night. It was good but not GREAT. I like that it sort of giving a ending for everyone, and also refers back to the other movies, but felt something was either missing or just sort of Bla. I felt that everything was being tied but either rather quickly or just done so that it can be tied up. I guess the hype was bigger then the movie, which always happens but also runes the movie.

I got to the theater 2 hours before the start and people were already waiting. By the time we were let in, the line was down a flight. Also people were actually crying at one point of the movie..WTF I did not read any of the books and even I knew what was going to happen. I could not believe people were crying....but at least the entire place was quiet through the whole movie. A rarity.

Over all it was good, but I guess I expected more or bigger ending. More spectacular.
I agree it should of been a little longer and maybe a little more detail. The first part of the DH had a lot of detail and this part felt it could of used more. But then again what the fuck do I know.

Side note, what the fuck was with the previews. Biggest movie ever and 2 kids previews, another shitty movie which I could not remember and Batman. I guess they know everyone will be watching so put the shitty ones out. Except for Batman, which is a year away.

It was alright. Really didnt do the book justice. They had a little bit too much creative license with the end, too much added action that didnt take place in the book, and not enough explanation. A few people I know that didnt read the books had all kinds of questions and came out confused. It was almost like they made the movie thinking every person that was going to see it had already read the books. I was dissapointed.

This isn't specific to Harry Potter but it happened in Harry Potter so I will mention it.

I really hate when a movie has a flash back that is just clips from previous movies in the series, especially when it isn't at the beginning purely for exposition purposes but cut into the movie. I actually hate flashbacks in general, but atleast if you're composing a brand new one it integrates better, I find it incredibly jarring to the story. That's just not how memory works.

I admit that I teared up a little when he was talking with his Mom Dad Sirus and Lupin before he went to face Voldy and his death. Made me think of my dead mom and what I would give to see her one more time....:glurps:

I just find it amazing that they did 8 films in 10 years with all the same cast. Also that all 8 films are watchable and good. Glad that WB did not try to go beyond the books and gave the movie a ending.

But the crying thing I find amazing still. I guess I am going to cry when the Dr. who gives Steve Rogers the super soilder serum and dies.

yeah, I showed it to my wife and she voted not fake. The double sided tape is used to hold the dress against the skin to hide the tit. Thank goodness it didn't work in this case.
