F_S Went To The Drugstore Tonight (Not The One Where His Younger-Self Works) To Buy A Hand-Held Mirror, So He Can Hold It To The Back Of His Head While Looking At His Medicine-Cabinet Mirror, To See If The Thinning Spot On The Crown Of His Head Is As Bad As The Barber Made It Out To Be Last Week, And Also To Keep Track Of It.

While In The Store, F_S Looked At A Bunch Of Other Stuff, Including The Alli Display, And He Bought Some Clorox Clean-Ups As Well.

On The Way Back To Check Out, The Herbal Essence Shampoo Products Caught His Eye, In Particular, The Herbal Essence "Set Me Up Extra Hold Spray Gel...With A Fusion Of Cactus Flower AND Bamboo". With All The Time These People Put Into Researching Cactii And Bamboo, F_S Says To Himself: "This Product, You MUST Have". So He Bought It.

Well, F_S Just Sprayed It On And Worked It In And Kinda Mussed Up His Hair And Let It Dry, And He Must Say That He Loves This Product. His Hair Is All Shiny And Held In Position Exactly Where He Mussed It, Yet Without Being All Sticky And Intrusive. It Must Be The Bamboo.

What Do The Rest Of You People Use In The Way Of Hair Products?

Shampoo - whatever's in the shower

Occasional conditioner - whatever's in the shower.

and a bit of alcohol-free hair gel roughly the size of a quarter.

Of course there was that one time (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=46452), but it never became a regular part of my regimen.

If you shower in the mornings, shampoo your hair only like once or twice a week. You go a just a day without it, you'll wake up with awesome hair.

Onbviously, if you're funky, wash your goddamn hair...but if you can get by with just rinising it in the shower, do it.

Just So You Know (And F_S Only Says This Because Of His Great Respect For P-PAnda) Tonight Is The First Time F_S Has Ever Tried A Hair Gel. And He Did Shave Today, But For The First Time In 5 Days. That Is The Biggest Advantage Of Working Out Of Your House!!

What Are You Drinking Tonight, PP??

Ha ha ha - who said I was drinking?..but if you must know- I bought some Blue Moon summer brews and I am hitting some Bud lights and Jim Beam shots in between.

No wroories F_S- I went through a time where I bought Details and GQ mags to see how I can be all debonaire all 6 months of it. What I am finding is that chicks can totally read through that shit.
When I had long bleached- unwashed- hair- dyed fire engin red- more chicks would actully approach me than when I tried to one of the "beutiful people"..it took all the effort out of finding someone and dating and shit

..although I have been told that I clean up very well.

Not sure if thats your motivation to try expensive hair products.

I am just finding the less I "try" (or the less I care I guess you can say) thed more girls are interested in me. Maybe not caring= a sense of confidence- not sure- I never understood chicks.

But anyway- just do what you feel comfortable with- be yourself- If you feel awkward with say, spikey hair- dont do it- cuz it will reflect that you are self concious no matter hot "hot" you look.

Oh Dear Baby Jesus, Tonight's Hair Exercise Was Just For F_S To Play In The Mirror; He Won't Be Gelling In Public!!! For Chrissakes, F_S Wears The Same Clothes Two Weeks In A Row!

Dollar Store shampoo. I keep just enough hair on my head that people won't ask "Hows the chemo going?"

I thought you were getting at something else with sleep grease.
Meantime, agree - I only apply soap to my hair about twice a week. Just rinse every other day.

You only wash your hair twice a week, nasty fool, especially in the Summer.

I use Pantene's Brunette Expressions shampoo and John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette glaze(roughly every other day).

The only products i use are a glosser(rarely) and during the winter an anti-static spray.

Pomade Vendor: I can get the part from Bristol. It'll take two weeks, here's your pomade.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Two weeks? That don't do me no good.
Pomade Vendor: Nearest Ford auto man's Bristol.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Hold on, I don't want this pomade. I want Dapper Dan.
Pomade Vendor: I don't carry Dapper Dan, I carry Fop.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Well, I don't want Fop, goddamn it! I'm a Dapper Dan man!
Pomade Vendor: Watch your language, young feller, this is a public market. Now if you want Dapper Dan, I can order it for you, have it in a couple of weeks.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Well, ain't this place a geographical oddity. Two weeks from everywhere!

I fucking LOVE this movie, and anyone who thinks its a hayseed movie and won't watch it, is an asshole.

Nasty fool? I prefer 'dirty monkey'. Anyway, like mojo said, if it gets funky, I wash it.
