So apparently my insurance has gone up because the DMV never received a form from the court to change the claim. I am currently on the phone waiting a refreshing 10 minutes before i can speak to an incompetent piece of shit, again.

I was transferred without knowing to where, retold the information about 4 times. Hung up on some bitch who was repeating the same info over and over so that i wouldnt scream at her and by luck was hung up on when calling again.

I don't know how they lost the form but it's not surprising. I fucking hate the DMV and i hope all the useless old people who work there die of cardiac arrest.

Kill 'em, no one's gonna miss 'em.

I'll give the DMV this. NJ has really streamlined the process of getting easy to do things like titles and registration, but they are still a pack of assholes in my book.

Been there and done that. I have even had my license suspended over them losing my insurance information and had to go to court about it twice. Good luck!

DMV?

What is this, 1999?

Here in NJ it's the MVC.

In my experience. DC has gotten a thousand times better in the last 5 years.

In my experience, the Pennsylvania DMV is not too bad. I have always been able to get things done with very little hassle.

Of course I have never had to do anything major; my primary experiences deal with changing my address, renewing my license, or replacing my license. Pretty low impact actually.

PRIMUS

"DMV"

I've been to hell. I spell it...I spell it DMV
Anyone that's been there knows precisely what I mean
Stood there and I've waited and choked back the urge to scream
And if I had my druthers I'd screw a chimpanzee-call it pointless

When I need relief I spell it THC
Perhpas you may know vaguely what I mean
I sit back and smoke away huge chunks of memory
As I slowly inflict upon myself a full lobotomy-call it pointless

Barbecues, tea kettles, gobs of axle grease
There comes a time for every man to sail the seas of cheese
Now, life's a bowl of bagel dogs, but there are unpleasantries
Cold toilet seats, dentist chairs and trips to DMV-call it pointless

I've been to hell. I spell it...I spell it DMV
Anyone that's been there knows precisely what I mean
I've stood in line and waited near an hour and fifteen
And if I had my druthers I'd screw that chimpanzee-call it pointless

In NOVA, MVC (http://mvclatenight.com) is something completely different.

never heard that.

they changed their name a few years back to MVC (motor vehicle commission), to make it sound better since DMV has such a bad reputation. Makes no sense really.

A. What claim?

B. Why blame the DMB for your insurance company/agent's fuck-up?

C. Seriously....the DMV? Why bother....just admit that you are pissed with life?

Haha, no sense at all. Sounds like they are following the footsteps of New Kids on the Block deciding to change their name to NKOTB for street cred, MC Hammer dropping the MC and insisting on being called HAMMER and then adopting the MC back to his name once he realized no one was buying his newly found gangsta rap image, Puff Daddy asking the media to refer to him as P.Diddy all of a sudden and then eventually dropping the P. I wish he'd just drop off the face of the earth, oh and the topper of 'em all, Prince going from that "oohhmm" looking sign to "The Sign" and then just back to "Prince". When will they learn? How long before Jughead and PhishHead are fighting for the rights to be called just 'head'?
Once again I've derailed a thread.

i believe that was done to get around a legal hangup in his contract.
something like he wanted to get out of his contract, but they wouldnt let him use the "prince" name or trademark.

once his contract expired, "prince" was all his again.
