I think the best thing the buddays could do is to play the various podcasts instead of some of the replays (weekends would be best I guess).Obviously XM is not going to help out 202 with any new talent, and all they seem to want to play is O&A for 18 hours a day.

On that note, I signed up for the free Sirius online trial yesterday, and was very impressed with the content and variety of their adult talk shows. And that was not even including Stern (still never heard the guy in my life).

If they dont either bring in some help or at least give R&F an extra replay in there somewhere I'm going to seriously consider switching.

Stugots on XM 202 or really anywhere on XM would be really great. I listen to the show he is on with Regina on thereisnoradio.com every week. The shows are very entertaining and funny and would really make a great addition to the lineup on XM.

If I have to drive over 20 XM units with my Liberty to make this happen I WILL. I WILL DO IT!!

And my last post said I have no problem with Stugots getting on a saturday now. Alright, I'm going to vent/rant a little here and don't take it personally RM as this is geared more towards all these boards and posters overall, not you specifically.

I hope I'm not the only one on here that is really getting tired of people always looking for their "credit", "shout out", "moment in the sun" or attention whoring via the ron and fez show. It seems to me of late that more and more people are almost "using" the show to whore themselves, make it about themselves and sometimes worse. Now with our boys Ron and Fez being so cool to it's listeners they'll never stop backing their fans and goals, but of late it's getting out of control. I've never seen so many glory hogs in my fucking life, not there to support the show but to get their moment in the limelight. It's not my call but I like it more when people are there as true fans of the show like sheep, snoogs, bobo and many others. Yet of late (perhaps I'm jaded) it seems people aren't in there for true love of the show, but to make themselves a name. Look how long people like Pantera, JustJon, Fallon and Mojo have followed the show and gave back never making it about themselves. I'm just saying I respect those people more so then some others out there. The good thing is that most of these types usually fade from the show over time and the Ron Fez show continues as it had for years without them.

Alright, I'm going to vent/rant a little here and don't take it personally RM as this is geared more towards all these boards and posters overall, not you specifically.

I hope I'm not the only one on here that is really getting tired of people always looking for their "credit", "shout out", "moment in the sun" or attention whoring via the ron and fez show. It seems to me of late that more and more people are almost "using" the show to whore themselves, make it about themselves and sometimes worse. Now with our boys Ron and Fez being so cool to it's listeners they'll never stop backing their fans and goals, but of late it's getting out of control. I've never seen so many glory hogs in my fucking life, not there to support the show but to get their moment in the limelight. It's not my call but I like it more when people are there as true fans of the show like sheep, snoogs, bobo and many others. Yet of late (perhaps I'm jaded) it seems people aren't in there for true love of the show, but to make themselves a name. Look how long people like Pantera, JustJon, Fallon and Mojo have followed the show and gave back never making it about themselves. I'm just saying I respect those people more so then some others out there. The good thing is that most of these types usually fade from the show over time and the Ron Fez show continues as it had for years without them.

Viva la Ron and fucking Fez. And that's what truly matters.

How about you shut the fuck up and realize the whole fucking board doesn't have to be ass licking and sugar for the likes of those who can't take a rip or some tough advice. ok . I am going to put myself on the chop block here. but i think this horse shit started when Stu reacted as someone who had been victimized on his own radio show. His anger was real and it touched his listeners in a way we have all felt.... like when Fezzy breaks down and cries. We really felt helpless and angry that someone was treating our friend like shit.

What we didn't know, was that it was a bit. And because it was not a regular Sunday show... I think we, as listeners and friends, were unprepared for such a bit. And maybe Stugots is a GREAT fucking actor... or maybe that first call really did piss him off. Either way, we reacted as friends sometimes do. I ended up getting in a big fight with someone who I do not want to fight with. And someone who I find to be very CORRECT in this thread as previously stated. And now this new chapter has erupted... all from the same bit.

I do want to add some criticism to Ron and Fez, Ron in particular for putting you on the spot with little to no time to rally people together. I find it hard to think that your whole career in radio hinged on you getting a groundswell of people together within a day and a half to overwhelm Ron. If anything it was a bump in the road. Ron keeps saying your name, he doesn't do that unless you have a little heat going for yourself. The fact that there was little turnout for you and even Ron & Fez in general has more to do with whoever was behind the promotion not giving more advance notice.

By the time this promotion came out I had already decided that I could not make the Saranoid event. No offense to Saranoid, but I just had personal financial issues that prevented it. If I couldn't make it for that, I wasn't going to be able to go for the VIP thing either. If there was maybe a few weeks notice I'm am certain without a doubt you would have had a LOT of people telling Ron to give you a shot. Regardless of anything I will make certain at the next event to say that to Ronnie, and I encourage everyone who sees him to do the same. It doesn't matter if this was your "shot" the more he hears your name, and the more support that is shown will give him even more reason to give you a chance. One of the other things I'm sure that Ron wants to see is that you can roll with the punches.

Take your hits, laugh it off like a man and challenge him on the next event. Put him on the spot and dare him, Ron would appreciate that. He already looks at you as a leader, so say it like a man that you want your second chance at a shot. (Not saying you aren't, but show him how determined you are). The promotion for VIP should have happened long before that. And yes I do feel Ron is deservedly due some criticism for putting Stugots on the spot to then deliver with a day and a half. Matty is right on here. I'd be happy my favorite show and some peeps supported me at all. Blaming Ron for having fun and giving Stugots some press is insane. He didn't have to do shit but did and constantly does for the fans of the show. Hell, how many fans have taken over third mic or got internships. You want to go see the show, simply IM Ron and Fez and they'll usually answer personally. I thinks it's truly crazy for anyone to blame Ron, Fez or anyone who isn't Stu himself for not getting a show. And aren't we moving a little too quick right now. Let the man hone his skills more as there are a ton of fully established shows from all over the country trying to get on 202 right now. Unless it's just for fun and Stu learns to roll with things a little better (and I don't mean our little bit), I'm not so sure he's 100% ready. I'll back a friend to the end, which he is to me so don't be shocked. Yet I'm also a real person and will give true feedback and try to actually help someone get better. Perhaps it's the coach/trainer in me, but taking the grandparent approach here isn't the best thing for someone developing his/her talent.
