Up until a little over a year ago, I didn't even know how to text on my cell phone. Now I'm out of control. I only text to two people. A few months ago, I had to change my plan from 200 texts to 1000 texts per month. The last 3 months straight, I've gone WAY over. I just paid an extra $5 a month to get unlimited texts. I CAN'T STOP!!!

At least I try to keep the texting while driving down to stop lights.

Last month we got the Cingular bill and had all sorts of big-ass charges for texting. Immediately I blamed my daughters (11 and 13 [almost]) and my wife. The totals:

wife: 113
11 y/o: 126
13/yo: 131
dad: 394

they add up so fucking fast... the girls are grounded anyway.

I work in a call center so I'm on the phone alll f'n day long. My friends no better than to call me cause I will NOT answer so the only way to get ahold of me is to text me. I have Verizon & unlimited texting. Even my friends who don't have Verizon know I'll text them back and I have 500 mins a month for that and don't give a shit if I go over on that. I text for the stupidest things and will do so even while driving and yes I have the ENVY phone so I can text with 2 thumbs.

it's time for a new phone though, and maybe a new carrier. i've been on sprint for the last 5 years, and my latest contract is finally over

five of us share a family plan. i used to have some reception issues, but they've gone away over the years. i've always hated their phone selection though. i want to be able to email and IM with relative ease on my next phone, and have the option of highspeed internet
