Ok I have NO idea if this is true or not...but if it is, this is the greatest video evidence of an Unidentified Flying Object ever.
If not this is still the greatest video image ever forged outside of a hollywood studio.

Or is this thing a hoax that is plastered all over YouTube?

Congratulations...you're part of a viral ad campaign! For what, I'm not sute, but if you look on the various YouTube pages for that clip there's a bunch of other under 30 second UFP sightings that look the same. I'm guessing it's for Halo 3.

The biggest tip off is that all the videos are so short. Why would real footage like that be cut off so quickly?

As far as I can tell, NASA has never been able to explain that one.

Nor the one shown in the first few seconds of this clip. It's another great one, whereas something is crossing space on the left hand side, stops, then starts traveling up at a different speed. The rest of the clip shows other objects that are most likely space junk and/or ice crystals that fall off the shuttles. But the first one is a doozy!

Not that I know of. The shuttle missions are labeled STS- then a number. I don't know which one that was from - I've only seen it in many UFO compilation videos, which is a shame becuase it mixed in with all the stuff that can be intentified.

But there are other examples of that stopping and changing direction, which isn't natural, nor is available in our modern technology.

Here is a clip from STS-114 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vegh44yUcdU) - fast forward to 2:19 into the video clip and you'll see something come in from the bottom right, fly left - stop - then go backwards! Wild shit.

I believe those glowing objects you see are just water drops that condensed on the outside of the ships window and move around by the resistance of the faint atmospheric pressure of the ship moving through space. The atmosphere doesn't simply "stop", it is a gradual lessening as you go further and further from the earth. If the drops appear illuminated, it is because of either internal lights within the ship (some of which flash) or by reflections from below (off the earth). What would be the likelihood of an alien visitation at such a time? Why does everyone think that alien ships would have or even need bright lights on them?
