Yes. From what I gathered, Kenny lost his job as a NJ cop because he ratted on a few of his former co-workers. He was also moonlighting as security for Dice, but that wasn't as a big deal. He then sued theforce to get his pension and won.

If I am wrong, please forgive me, I don't have the total back story, it's just what I gathered over the last couple of years.
