Rain rocks a fat ass. We live in one these coastal flood zones, and when we get a good week-long storm, the missus and I will take a disaster tour of the county. Those are some of my favorite times.

I actually take it personally as some sort of discrimination when the weatherman claims that today will have awful weather because there's rain brewing. I'm not religious folk, but it seems to me that rain should be seen as some sort of holy event in that water, a somewhat important substance to life, is magically falling from the sky.
