10. Paying Letterman royalties every time I do one.
9. Counting down anything automatically becomes a VH1 marathon.
8. They're killing the art of writing complete paragraphs.
7. The people who write them are hacks and the people that read them have a short attention span.
6. I only write them because I don't have the confidence to go with just one line ... and that makes me sad to realize.
