View Full Version : I check out chicks

I used to be kind of afraid of chicks but now all I find myself doing is checking them out. . I think I may even have a crush on my supervisor. It's not even that I want to do anything with them. I just love to look at attractive women. It kind of scares me that I will see someone on a TV show or whatever and turn to reef and I am the one that says "she's hot, dont you think?" It's the weirdest thing. Maybe it's that I am more confident than I was a few years ago because the old me would never ever say something like that. Right now I think I have more girl crushes than guy crushes. I am not scared of it....it's just weird to me.

I think what it is today is that alot of girls seem to think its fuckin` "Hot" to be into chicks also. It just seems to be the fad to me. Although its a turn on to me, I would not condone it it if I was in a relationship. Chicks have a simple way of ruining things because they get this feather up there ass.

I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but when bartending and the place is full, just watch when a girl walks through the door. More women will check her out than men. If she's all decked out, walking tall with a smile on her face, guys will stare for a bit, but women will STUDY. It has that primitive "sizing up the competition" ritual. A majority of guys will look at her face as she walks in, with a quick glance up and down. But women will give the closest to a full body scan next to a Star Trek triquarter.
The confident girls will give her a good look, but not much of an afterthought.
I find it's the ones with less confidence that will give her the thousand yard stare from across the room. When she walks across the room, either to the bathroom or to go outside, some guys will check her out, and maybe give the 'ol eyebrow raise to their buddy or mouth "Wow" to their other buddy. But the girls who feel they have to one-up this girl because of their own insecurities or lack of self confidence, they are the one who will stare at her with lasers, by themselves, in their lonely minds.
Which is a shame, because they don't have to, and their worst fears will never be realized in that moment.
Now that has nothing to do with what you're feeling Amy, but even though it may seem weird, I think it's only natural.

I think some girls do it cause it's fad and for attention. But not all. I think fair to say that at least 65% woman have some kind of homosexual inclinations. I just think it's becoming more socially acceptable for women to explore that.

oh dear god. I've been driven away from a relationship because of this. if you push too hard you might make her feel like she's not enough for you. Although i consider myself slightly bi- curious I would never do anything with a girl for the satisfaction of a man. But thats me.

Didn't Freud or some other random psychologist say that all humans are born bisexual, or something like that?

AngelAmy and Nancy Drew, and any women who check out other women, let me ask you:
you say that you check out other women but say it's not necessarily sexual, what exactly is your conscious thought when you see an attractive woman? do you say to yourself, "I might like to have sex with her"? because that's the gist of what I think of when I see an attractive woman, and I'm a hetero male. I never just think, "I might like to just kiss her and nothing else." If I think I might kiss a woman, it's as a prelude to sex. it's always in the context of sex.
I'm just intellectually curious about this type of thing, and not just because I'm into girl/girl. It's a serious question I'm asking.

my first thought is that she is hot/attractive. i normally dont think about kissing or anything even though the way i say it to my friends is "i'm going to fuck her" doesn't actually mean i am or i want to.

even using the word "hot" I think is laced with sexual connotation. I'm not trying to push you to say that you would fuck her, I just don't fully understand the difference between identifying a "hot" woman and the desire to have sex with her.
this is different from finding someone attractive; I can identify an attractive male even though I am not gay or bi. but if I said a guy was hot, that would mean I would want to do him up the ass, which I clearly do not.

that's because you're a guy. i think it is something unique to females that we appreciate beauty and sexiness across the board, whether it's a hot guy or a hot girl. calling a girl hot, is kind of like how lordjezo says "justin timberlake is pure sex."
it's kind of odd because i can appreciate a girl for being sexy but i don't want to have sex with her.

I don't want to overanalyze this (or over ANALyze this) but as I said in another post, I can differentiate between saying someone is attractive and saying that they're hot. identifying attractiveness is what you're describing, but hot = sex.
or else my penis is blocking this concept from reaching my brain.

THAT makes sense. when I see a guy I could identify as attractive, I mean that I could see why a woman would find him attractive.
thanks for clarifying!

but i think it might be slightly more complicated than that. i'm not using the words hot/sexy to sound edgy. i really mean it, even though i don't want to be the one that has sex w/her. i guess it just doesn't really make a lot of sense.

it probably does come down to how women and men use language differently. I wouldn't ever use the words sexy or hot to describe a man that I could say was attractive, because those are words I would use to describe a woman I wanted to have sex with. but women don't have that barrier as much as men do.

This is EXACTLY what I said to someone on the board last week that I hung out with, I don't trust chicks at all! I have very few females friends because I know how women can be and because of that I don't trust many of them.
Girl-girl love sounds good, but doesn't work in practice for most women. You can't fool each other like you can us guys.

maybe I over-analyzed this thread, but at least it was an attempt to understand one aspect of female behavior. you seem to think that guys are just stupid and incapable of understanding women. maybe we don't understand everything about women, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
