Nassau Coleseum

I plan on going to an event at the Nassau Coleseum in the near future. Can anyone offer any help on where to hang out that might be 'run into star/autograph friendly'?

Is it a concert or a hockey game?

There's not much around the Coliseum itself. I think most acts that come out wind up driving back to Manhattan. If someone does stay on the Island, it's going to be at the nearby Garden City Hotel, which is pretty much the best hotel on LI. There is a bar and a club there.

Visiting teams sometimes stay in the Marriott, which is right next door to the Coliseum. However, I think most of those stay at the Hyatt Grand Central (also where visiting NBA and MLB teams usually stay).

It depends on the event. I've met alot of NHL players at the Marriot which is next to the Coliseum. A friend of mine, before some WWE event also met alot people over there. There is a side entrance that players use to get into the Coliseum that you can catch people going into if your there early or the back has a ramp that alot of people will use that leads down into the bottom of it.
