View Full Version : drinking in the morning!
Since this is my first thread let me get the obligatories out of the way ... "Dave sucks!", "Is Fez REALLY gay?", "Does anyone know where I can find clips of Ron's standdup routine?", yada yada yada. On to the real question though. How early is too early to start drinking? I scoff at people who say 5 o'clock. Noon even seems too late some days. Like today. Woke up hungover with nothing to do today. Tried a little hair of the dog but didn't stop. Resulting in a pretty hardy buzz before ten in the morning (don't make me a bad person right?)

i usually shy away from morning drinking...unless my steelers have a 1:00 game...i like to have a nice buzz when the game starts...oh and also because i have a job, drinking before work usually isnt a good idea

You drink up, man.
How else are you going to know if the latest batch of moonshine is any good? Do you drink out of a ceramic jug with XXX on the side?
Will you roll over in bed and give your sister a sip? By all means, drink. The alcohol will make your teeth cleaner than they've ever been.
You have to hurry up and drink before the revenue man comes and takes it away.
Your name wouldn't be Otis, would it?

Gotta sample the new 'shine, no doubt. And you wouldn't be giving me grief for sleeping with my sister if you knew what a great lay she was. She's a gusher though, might wanna wear some goggles.

5 o'clock is too early. You should at least wait until the sun comes up.

On Independance day, I always begin no later than 9 am. Not so early other days. Unless the boss is out.
Zak, may I bang your sister?
I'm afraid you're out of luck HT. She don't fuck outside the family.

I don't like getting up before 1pm, so how does this apply?
And I'm a liquor drinker. I'd rather keep that for when the kids are all locked up and can't interfere with my fun.
And no, I'm not gonna let it go...:furious:

Zen...it's nice to see another Alabamian who appreciates R and F. I would stay drunk if I could, but since I have to go to work and actually function, I make up for it on the weekends, by which I start drinking right after work on Friday, wake up still drunk Saturday and drink until early Sunday morning. The transition on Sunday from drunk to sober is absolutely painful, but that's what Sundays are for.

You don't need to ask permission. You just need 15 bucks - or the equivalent in food stamps.

Monday Morning
The Tossers
I sit alone
I drink alone
I was born alone
I'll die alone
I dream alone
I heal alone
I exist alone
And maybe now that's a lot of alone to put up with
But I like drinking on a Monday mornin'
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday too
Friday, Saturday, Sunday mornin'
Monday morning start anew
Well I been mistreated so my damaged self image
Is what I learned when I believed that what was said was true
Try harder, ya punk, you're an idle underachiever
Maybe so but I'll spite you now I've somethin' to prove
I've taken every behavior and identity on
Because I surely learned to be ashamed of my own
But aggression's not conflict resolution
Even though family, government, society and wrestling tell ya so
Well there's life outside school and your parents garden
So let go of how you learned your defences that way
It's probably you who's being selfish
No one has to stay with you when that's what you say
You take your anxieties out on other people
When you feel their behavior isn't true to you
And chemically on yourself when your damaged self image
Adheres to MacGowan's philosophy and other men's truths
Learning to let go of ideals and other people should be a virtue
Instead of torturing other for life
Never learning, never open, 'cause you've all these conclusions
Just 'cause it didn't work for your parents
No need to force it to work with your wife
Well no one can make me happy or see my side
Cause the anxiety's internal that makes us sad
So reassess addiction to chemicals and chronic wankin'
Well if that's what makes me happy then I've always been sad

Sometimes I'll drink after work (starting around 3 or 4 in the morning) and sometimes after work we'll hit the city and drinks will flow until 8 or 9 am. Which leads to my favorite part of drinking in the early morning...getting on the train or walking down the sidewalks with miserable, sober commuters on their way to work while being nice and lit. Gives me a perma-grin everytime it happens. It's so wrong but it cracks me up. :drunk:

I couldnt have said it better, sir. I work until 7am. I like to go home and get a decent buzz, stand on my porch and have a smoke, and watch fuckers leaving for work. There all in there suits and I'm kicking it in shorts and Homer Simpson slippers, feet up, having a beer.
