Does Dave have to strike with his brothers an sisters in the Writers guild? Since they are joining in the strike i was wondering if this means Dave will be a scab crossing the picket line, or if he will stand outside XM in unity with his bros. and sis?

Isn't the strike about TV writer's not getting paid when they put the media online? XM is radio that broadcast a certain amount of times and Dave gets paid for that set amount.

I believe that Dave is a member of the Writer's Guild, but that is completely independent of and previous to his work on XM. I don't think continuing to work for XM qualifies Dave as a "scab".

Could you imagine if Dave filled in writing for some primetime TV shows.

My buddy was making out with this chick in the PI once, he was at the barracks, the lights were out and he started to play with her titties. She wasn't stacked or anything but he was really going to town on them. Well, eventually as he kept sucking on her nips, one of them came off into his mouth. He freaks out, jumps up, and turns on the light; it turns out he had been sucking the hell out of a scab she had on her chest.

That's a great story to have when you need to make people vomit on impulse.

EDIT: Your friend may have down syndrome if he thought a scab was a nipple somewhere on his/her/it's chest. He may need a downy test, does he look like corky or have a backpack filled solely with condiments?

Will the guild members still get screener copies of the Oscar films if they're on strike? If not Mr. B will have to rely on Pepper Hicks alone for his contraband.

I certainly dont want the show to suffer since Dave refuses to write bits so why not have Hasp fill in for Dave till the strike is over?

this writer's strike is ridiculous. I respect Dave's right to back a cause, but there are people dying in the war. I put human life higher than some writers gripe about not being paid enough. I hope the strike ends soon so Dave can do his Board Gossip again and not let that horrible untalented Lilly plagerize his stuff again.

How is the strike adversely effecting the troops?

I still don't see why Dave was even in the Writers Guild.....How can you be in the writers guild by being in Radio? I didn't know radio shows had "Writers"?

And does this mean that Sleeve's has to pay Dave residuals for his work in the song's Bunsen and Radio Wars?

He was in before he was a part of the Ron & Fez show. He had another job where he wrote ads and on air reads for a (I think) news station.

Well shouldn't Sleeves have to pay him royalties for the Bunsen song since Dave wrote it and it was part of a radio program?

He wrote traffic reports as well. He gets oscar screeners which kick ass

Ok, here's my idea...

...dave refuses to come back to the show until the strike is over; he is replaced by a guy who isn't concerned about crossing picket lines, or much of anything else for that matter. a guy they call..."THE MIDNIGHT RIDER"

:-)
