Ron & Fez mention on Don & Mike

I was listening to their show today and they kept on saying Spy Report but not the clip just them saying it. Someone then called in and said why are you using their stuff. Don and mike then said it was a tribute.

The problem I had was that they never said where they got it from until the caller said it was from them. Good job whoever called them out for it.

They played the spy report clip, they mentioned where it came from, and they like R&F and mention them all the time. They were SAYING "SPy Report" today to imitate the Newsday homo columnist while they were reading the column and talking about him being a fayg.

They have a history of borrowing R&F bits. I've heard them using the R&F intro song (not including the Insane Clown Posse part) but instead of "Ron" it was "Don", and instead of "Fez" it was "Mike". Awful, just awful.

Good to whoever called them out with the Spy Report "tribute".

I'm sorry, but the way Don Geronimo butchers R&F here in Washington on tape delay (and he's responsible for it, seeing as he's p.d.), I just can't believe that there's this mutual admiration society that exists between the two shows.

You know Don and Mike were friends with O and A a year and a half ago. Once Don and Mike did not get their way with the afternon drive slot and realized they would not be on live in NYC from 3-7 they laid into O and A big time. They called O and A a rip off of their show. They said how they would never get syndicated. For a while Don and Mike were off WNEW and they played old Ron and FezO and A bits. For my money dead air would better then those 2.

I listen to both shows all the time and like them a lot. I don't think that they're real good friends or anything but they don't hate each other. They said it cause fez talks like a homosexual and so did the guy that they were going to interview, and it was very funny. If you didn't hear the show you really shouldn't comment because of "what you heard" because your probably misinformed. It was funny. As for the beginning of the show when they opened with "Don!...Mike!" like ron and fez do, that was just for laughs too. If you think that they're trying to get away with copying a bit than your mistaken.

I can't get over the real ANGER toward Don & Mike. I have been listening to D&M and R&F for about the same amount of time, and I have yet to hear D&M borrow, imitate, or mention R&F WITHOUT putting R&F in a good enough light that would make people curios enough to listen to R&F. Considering the fact that WNEW pays VERY little attention to R&F, one of their BEST, most popular shows, I think it's fine to have D&M borrow, steal and mention R&F as long as they are in reality PROMOTING Ron & Fez. Good friends? Who really knows! BUT there is an obvious homage paid to R&F by D&M whenever R&F are mentioned. If I were strictly an afternoon listener and heard mention of R&F on Don & Mike, I would definitely tune into R&F, just to hear what was so funny. D&M are attracting listeners to R&F, not chasing them away. I like them both, and they both have totally different shows. Of course, Don & Mike don't have Sweet Melissa, so they do fall beneath R&F..... but that's beside the point. Did I have a point? SOmeone e-mail me and tell me if I made one.

I gotta get outta here.....

(do lutherans have godparents?) they are a z morning zoo show with their wacky bits and horrible jokes. honestly, they could replay a whole ron and fez show on there and i wouldn't no because i can't listen. 18 months won't come quick enough
