Why could I see the moon today until like 10:30 up in the sky? Is the world coming to an end? I don't know about space stuff but it scared me and my small brain. Thanks for the help.

The moon is waning; meaning in the lunar cycle each month; it's passed full; and each night you see a bit less and less until New Moon, then a building [Waxing] crescent, then to Full, then to waning...

At full moon, the moon rises right at sunset. In the days after, the moon rises later and later at night, so it doesnt set until after sunrise aka in daylight. So around this time in the cycle, you see the moon during the day.

Google Weather Underground and put in your town; besides a forecast you get some cool things like time of sunrise/sunset, time of moonrise/moonset, length of day, length of daylight, and how much longer or shorter the day is then yesterday, and you can learn the difference between, Civil, Nautical, and Astronomical Twilight. From today for East Coasters, for example, from the WU:

That's a short day when you look at 'Length of Visible Light'; in July it's more like 14 hours. Winter sucks.
