It is more heartfelt and contemplative, but heartfelt does not buy air time, unfortunately.

I think Fez can and will pull it together. What ever is going on behind the scenes may be feeding into his problems. The man is still funny.

When I was listening to the XM show and then to the Free FM show they were two different shows. The XM show I think has been aimed more at the die hard fan. I think that if they wanted to they could flip back to just movies, politics and sports talk.

Ron said that this show is just like he and his buddies sitting on a bumper on lunch break. They can produce a good product if they have to but I love it when it's art.

I mean, we'll still be cool, no?

We can all log in at noon and imagine what would be happening in the studio if there was still a show......i mean, that will still be fun, right?

Fez is still funny, but not having fun.

I am glad that Ron said that he'll mom's box the show if that means Fez getting better. I hope it doesn't come to that, but whatever it takes, since Fez seems to be hurting quite badly. Anxiety and depression suck, and it is sad that Fez seems scared and lost. But with the right help, he can heal. I think his realizing that the "magic moment" is not going to happen and hopefully realizing that most of the work in therapy of any kind takes place outside of the session are big steps.

The show is very interesting, but I just wish that that was not in concert with show members' suffering.

Here's my first impression after listen to the first break of today"s(yesterdays) show

complete first impulse.......................

Ron needs to shut up and stop complaining its his show as much as Fez's if he's unhappy stop with the bitching and make the changes that you want otherwise its just a bit thats gone on to long.

Forgive me......

Also much repect to you GVAC. Ive read your posts on this issue a few times before listening to the show and to be honest your posts come off as a bit alarmist/over the top sort of the sky is falling feel at leat to me

Ok here is my take. It does sound like the Ron and Fez show is going somewhere. I can't say that it's ending who knows until it happens.
This show has changed over the years. I remember it being Ron and Ron when I was in Florida, RonandFez.com, etc. It will continue to change, If it ends I will move on. I like XM. I won't cancel it if the show ends. That's life. I'm sure Dave will still be on the air somewhere, Earl will find another job. Look at Al Dukes he was on a bunch stuff on New York radio.
I will find something else to keep me entertained, and I will remember the things I found funny on Ron and Fez, because it is the memories that are good enough for me.
I know I make no sense but it's my two cents.

so O and A obviously know what is coming, anyone think this is why Anthony was praising Ron so much the other day (Ron was a little embarrassed by the lengths Anthony went his support). Maybe Anthony wants to make sure Ron lands on his feet and stays in the mix on 202. The added weight of this potential show breakup on Fez now, wow. If Fez needs a somewhat long term break from radio, will be ever get this opportunity with Satellite radio again?

Supposedly Opie wants to trade Dave for Sam or even multiple Sams. I don't listen to O&A but is Sam so hated that he'd be thrown in to a wood chipper (if the show is actually in trouble, of course)?

They don't hate the Sams, but O&A really want Dave. It seems they might be willing to trade a couple of "good players" for Dave.

On yesterdays show,
1. Ron said that if ending the show would help Fez he'd do it.
2. They talked at length about Fez "going away" .
3. Ron ate the ass off of Pitzy and basically trashed the whole team.
4. Ron mentioned how "inside" the show was, and not in a good way

is it not possible, when taken in context, that Ron was telling one and all to abandon a ship that was sinking because of its own crew and not due to any merger issues? Ron is not above issuing a dark warning from time to time. He may be striking fear into the hearts of those around him to avoid any merger issues, not hinting that the issues exist already. Yea, I'm trying to find hope, I really need hope.

If Fez sticks to his guns and does indeed tell them to stay away from these next two "Unmasked" tapings, will there be further repercussions?

On the show today, they were saying that at least a dozen Michael Jackson fans killed themselves following the death of the "King of Pop." If this is truly the end, we're going to be the suckiest group of fans if we can't muster at least one suicide.

Why the only way that could be more compelling would be to intersperse reports on listeners that bring in cigars to Ron, comics to Fez and booze to Dave.

I almost hope so. I have had to change channels so frequently during the show because I am getting annoyed I don't think it counts as listening. There doesn't seem to be any chemistry, direction, and only a thimble full of comedy.

If they don't come back from vacation refreshed, why not put the old horse down and just buy a new one.
