Good morning my buddays. For today's song, I want to hear some Van Morrison. Maybe some "Glad Tidings" (although it has been played already as an intro song), or "Caravan."

EDIT: No, not maybe. I want "Glad Tidings" today.

PLEASE help JimiMetal's family. Especially during the Holiday season. (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=59006)

Kathleen From The Bronx's Dear Ron and Fez Show. (http://ronfez.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=37)

Purchase Sleeves' 'Mighty Horse: Songs for the Ron & Fez Show' CD. It makes a great Christmas gift. (http://kunaki.com/Sales.asp?PID=PX00ZXMXRX)

If you are donating to the Ron and Fez Holiday gift, please do it today.. It's time to go shopping. Deadline was YESTERDAY AFTERNOON! Show some love. (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1531715#post1531715)

BTW, my wife and I are doing the Christmas/Holiday Card thing to send out to my friends and family (we're not doing the letter-of-what-happened-to-us-this-year thing though), and I thought it would be an insult for me to not share it with my RF.net buddays. So here's a RF.Net version of the card for you all:

"Friends with Benefits" is great, as long as it doesn't start to get serious. When one of you becomes attached when the other still isn't, things can get really messy.

Otherwise it is a great thing!

I think Ron's only partially right when he says "you can't take away good things," at least in some cases.

Example: I had some good times with my ex-wife, but the relationship ended so badly that it colors all of my memories of the relationship. Even the best memories are tinged with a little regret/loss/something.

However, that isn't always the case. I have a lot of great memories of (or including) a lot of great women and relationships.

We aren't saying that the relationship is devoid of emotion, in fact you can have some well defined feelings. However, both of you understand that the relationship/sexual relationship isn't permanent. You are friends that enjoy each other's company and share a physical relationship.

I think Belicheck will go for the record as long as the keep winning. They are looking at Steelers (tough game) then Jets, Dolphins, Giants. Play Brady a quarter in the last three games and you might have a 14-21 point lead. If they don't beat the Steelers Tom probably will probably have a few weeks off come sundays.

Agreed, using all start status is like using the value of their baseball cards. Sure there is some conection, but in the end it is a popularity contest.

Being an all-star is a pretty meaningless stat.

Ripken is one of 10 players with 300 HR and 3000 hits for a career. Millions wish for that kind of 'sustained mediocrity.'

All I'm saying is that after the age of 30 (in which he won the MVP), his career was really mediocre and I believe the numbers bear that out.

In his 20's he was a beast, but I've always felt "The Streak" actually wore him out before his time.

Exactly. And now I'm gonna be an asshole.

Billy Ripken's Fleer "Fuckface" Card is worth more than anything in the Cal Ripken Jr. collection......hence:

Billy Ripken > Cal Ripken Jr.
