Drinking a bunch of Gatorade (or another sports drink) before going to bed tends to help me a lot after I've been on a bender. It helps replace all the liquid and electrolytes that drinking "burns off."

And I have blacked out far too many times than I would like to admit. For some reason being drunk is like a switch for me. I will be fine for hours and hours, then I will suddenly and unexpectedly be hammered. But it's usually when drinking with buddies and you are pounding drinks then the alcohol kicks in "unexpectedly."

i agree...my drink of choice is usually beer or jack...but when i was younger i would mix vodka and gotorade...never had a hangover from it because as i was getting drunk i was curing my hangover in the process

In fairness to Jimmy, one of his biggest problems is that he has a complete and general lack of knowledge for anything pop-culture related unless it has to do with Black Sabbath or the last few years. They've gone over this on the show.

Jimmy isn't deep when it comes to his music, and unless you're a Dylan fan OR you have a semi-deep knowledge of music, you would think that Watchtower is Hendrix, not Dylan.
