don't get me wrong, i am not saying i think staples is a bad guy. all i am saying is that he has gone through some shit. i think the most depressing thing is that he is optimistic about things still. i would trade earl for him anyday though.

Look I was there and heard Ron mention me and Billy today. No prob. Billy didn't look so bad to me personally, but I arrived late and didnt hear the whole story; but enough that life has thrown him a lot of curves...

But that was exactly and precisely the Billy we knew from WNEW. I dont mean clone; but it was always Billy trying to be the Pollyanna while taking Paintballs to the Gut.

The guy really did do a lot; I'd stop in at WNEW and hed call me over; doing all the phones then running to show me a pyramid he needed a couple more lines on, and then what about this for an event, and fucking A he gave us some greta radio. If the words 'Lobster Claws' dont bring a smile, you Must hear Billy. Billy for me was a radio Fort Knox exactly Because he was then, as now, Wheels Off. I was at the Count Basie show and you remember the resulting meltdown and call-in? Radio Fucking Diamond.

It's called the Cruel Circus for a reason.

I got a lot of mail that Billy stepped on me/interrupted/said crazy shit. So what. Actually, I need to be broken up; more conversational = more gooder. Preachy Teachy Mike gets boring fast.

Then time I was on with Crazy Jen? On the radio scale I rate that my worst ever ever ever ever ever; a true aborion trainwreck I had zero nothing zilch. Jen was fine. I sucked eggs. That audio exists? Burn the bits and bytes.

Hey, its all good. I'm just the same guy, with a few more years, few more bumps and bruises, grew up alot and don't take shit anymore, if its over the line.

so far everyone has their opinion...things are good and things are bad....its tough with my mom, but what ya gonna do. Hell I'd love to come back now and show how to run a show. In all fairness, this show is 180 degrees different than the one we did at WNEW from what I've seen. To begin with, I thought we were going to break when the show ended it goes so fast.

We used to spend hours in prep and stuff to fit that format, cause things ere a lot tighter,hard to be within the lines and still say what you want or write what you want. No music searching, no more long Al scripts from 7-11 with every minute plotted out that went out the 9th story window right after, "Broadcasting Live from Midtown Manhattan". Say what u want about me, but some of those were damn funny and not easy. I had a lot of help too. I think Mike even pitched in on one, when you get stuck for a line here or there.

Anyway,oh yeah posting all hours of the day. It's tough to sleep sometimes. Like I said on the air, sleep doesn't come easy sometimes. you know the feeling when something bothers you or hurts ya and you just can't get comfortable....it happens. gives me more time to start a million things and not finish them...I keep yellow sticky pads in business. Kinda why I started the web pages,starting feeling a little creative again and needed and output. I could use an input too, of a different kind. Yeah it sucks....somehow 21 year olds aren't interested in old farts when u aren't on the radio. Oh wait, she wasn't even interested than, chicken parmed 2x....OK, my life does suck.

well there is always the Holiday shopping ruse for hookers and strip clubs. Just say you are going out shopping blow all your money and say you hid the gifts. Worked like a charm when I was married. Hmmm, coincidence? nah

Bottom line it was great seeing Ron and Fez again and physically feeling better. Just made a decision this year not to go to California. Need new headshots and too much unplanned as i didn't know i was getting to be a free man and able to drive and travel so soon.
Yeah I got baggage and it ain't a matched set of Louis Vitton either. More like a duffel bag and that ripped hefty bag I wore on the corner of 57th pan handling until the cops got me!!! Never fails

I loved being able to be on the air again and hang with the guys like old times. Sorry if some of ya didn't like it./ It was only an hour and a half....5 more minutes you would have loved me!!
