i <3 the smell of diesel exhaust. i dont know why. maybe its because that reminds me of power, and power is a real turn on for me.

Enjoy it while ya can Mike...With all the new low sulfur restrictions imposed by the government Our new Duramax diesel lost its smell....It will be a long time before all diesel engines will be this way so enjoy!!!..Because of the new soot cleaning system on it and the new exhaust it went up 2600 dollars the engine alone now is about 7 grand ...Perhaps more than that...Linger longer!!!

There's a very interesting article in this month's Popular Mechanics on new diesel technology. Volkswagen will be introducing a diesel car next year that gets better mileage and has less emissions that a Toyota Prius hybrid.

Probably like back in the late 70's early 80's when they changed gas. Back in the good ole days when regular meant regular leaded gas, not like now when there is only unleaded and it comes in regular, super and premium. That old gas had a way better smell.
