Where are they now?

I went back and listened to the great 2001-2002 WNEW shows during the R&F holidays. However, I am wondering what happened to these folks?

If anyone has any answers I would love to know what happened to Joe Poo and why did he leave the show?

Also Sweet Melissa - I know she had a lecture post at NYU, just wondering why that whole R&F Hot Chicks thing went away? It seemed to be great radio.

Joe poo actually ate his own poo...and died. He had to get buried with his sister, ass to ass. The only ones at the funeral were later years Jim Morrison, foul mouth elmo, and Joe Jackson. He left behind a mother and a son, who drinks his own pee.

I've seen in here that Sweet Melissa has moved onto successful family life, being forced off the show after she wouldn't reveal her pork store to Ronnie. But he's aparently always out there watching, listening and lurking SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......

Joe Poo by every report had a falling out with Ron and Fez, went on an extended vacation and never returned, though he called in from time to time, but was always hung up on. Would love to see a reunion, he was awesome.

If any of these old schoolers have Myspace, I'd love to see.

I derfinitely concur.

Ron and Fez obviously saw something in him - he went from a phone-in character to third mike pretty quickly.

I think Rory also made Joe and the rest of the staff look good. Producer Hill would not have possible if the guy in the booth was not able to pull up The Doors and Apocalypse Now clips.

A few months ago Fez said that Joe Poo didn't want to put in the work to develop his character. I don't know why he left, but Fez made it sound like he didn't have any drive and that's why he's not in the business.
