Sometimes I Feel Guilty

Like I'm stealing a paycheck. When I started my job back in July I busted my butt for a few months to build up my customer base and now that the commissions are rolling in I really don't do much at all. I've been home by 3PM every day this week so far, and that's with taking an hour and a half lunch.

Sure I could make more sales calls, but how greedy can one man be?

I'm in the same boat. I'm contracted by the month, so I get all my work done at once and chill for the rest of the month.

This is my working period though, which is why my posting rate is down recently...

Just make a few calls every now and then. Get the customer base a little larger, then cruise again for a litle while.

Its my 24th year..I really should go out and wait on more people...But I am so lucky just to get THE PHONE CALL!!..Hey Jeff its me Mr.Customer Im looking for???The only reason I can even get on the board as much as i do.... 90% of the time I'm dealing with people Ive been dealing with for years and even there kids......Referred customers and repeat business is the best......I would not want to be a newbee right now in this business and have strictly floor traffic to feed my family...There are 9 of us in this dept the average years of there employment here is 15 years ..That is very high for this business...It says a lot about this dealership no turn over..Thats great for the customers too.......It really is a great place to do business...

Because of some serious fucking medical bills, I didn't have much in the bank before the strike. Now, I'm having trouble sleeping because Feb 1 is right around the corner.

My landlord is going to be thrilled.

Get greedy as a mother fucker and stack that paper while you can. I'm in the building materials sales business and have a stellar last five years. I made a ton of money and consequently spent a ton of money. Get it while it's good and hang onto what you can. Hard times can sneak up on bite you on the ass before you know it. I don't know if you've heard anything about the housing market but it's not real hot right now. if people can't sell the houses they're living in they're not buying new homes hence my customers aren't building new homes.
