Why do my recent poops smell like rotten vegetables?

For the past week-and-a-half or so, my BM's have been smelling like the leavings of a hippie commune latrine. It's not so much that the smell is more offensive than usual...it's just that this is the first time I can readily identify my fecal odor to another existing odor....that being the smell of rotten vegetables.
Am I dying, and my body is slowly decomposing from the inside-out, while my vital organs are still functioning?

I haven't changed my diet too much, other than the fact that I just don't eat as much.
I enjoy a Salame sandwich with Monterey pepperjack on Arnold wheat bread daily. I also chew mint Nicorette™. When I was smoking cigars, my poops smelled like a humidor and ass.
