My only hope is that since today is review day, maybe Earl has finally performed his finest act as EP and left the Ron & Fez show. If Earl goes, and Fez continues his efforts in becoming an active participant of the show again (it's a shame he was being held back by the horrible slave-boy bit), and ESD goes back to doing what he does best, being the object of ridicule, I'd say we're on track for a good 2008.

Dave McDonald HAS been placed on adminstrative probation for the next 90 days. Its not quite fired, but its the first step to being fired. Equal Opportunity Laws basically require this, and its not necessarily related to Friday's incident. Ron and Fez will have a chance to lobby for him if they want, but he looks like he's gone right now.

In the meantime, there is an interium producer assigned to the show, he's going to go by the name East Side Machine:

To answer the question first, because he's an idiot.

But I do have to say that even though i would like to see the return of the Midnight Rider, Dave has grown on me as a personality.

I don't know what did it, but I actually can say that I'm a Dave fan. I didn't agree with the fiasco from 1/11 that Dave started, don't get me wrong. But other than that, he is pretty good on the show.

I remember the days where people would say "Al Dukes is not good for the show." and things of that sort. But look at him now, he has a strong fan base among RnF fans. Dave has been on the show how long now and people still don't like him?

If he were to be fired, I can guarantee when a new producer were to come in, people would say "I miss Dave." So with that all said, he may not be funny. His stuff may be cringe worthy at times, but all and all he is just one of the freaks who help run the Ron and Fez Carnival.

For the record:
My attitude is that if your new to the board you should spend a little time to get the feel of the place before you start threads that are redundant and inflammatory.
Hence my suggestion to create a sigpic and avatar. If you've been around long enough to create a nice sigpic you will have interacted with a few board members and get to know the board and its fine members a little and will likely refrain from these types of threads that don't advance the board in any way. There is nothing wrong with having an opinion its just likely that big badass opinions have been made for years here by people before you
