I found it amusing and even laughed out loud a couple of times. Is it one of the funniest/best movies ever? No. But, I don't understand the level of vitriol that I remember this thing got when it was in the theaters. I have watched many, many worse movies and, as I said, I actually liked it. Eddie Murphy got a raw deal with this one. He does a good job playing multiple roles and even wrote it with his brother, Charlie Murphy, of Chapelle Show fame. I give it a thumbs up. So, I guess that makes me a worthless piece of shit?

If you haven't seen it, it's on HBO and HBO On Demand this month. Let me know if you think I'm crazy.

There can never be enough "black actor does a comedy in a fat suit" movies. They should keep up this pace of one a year. My only wish is that another actor will step it up, so Eddie Murphy doesn't have to carry so much of the load. Its actually the only success he has anymore, maybe he should just say fuck it and actually gain the weight, bypass the fat suit altogether.

Careful. Wishes like that will only bring about "Big Momma's House 3."

Mods, find out who lives closest to stinkbud and send them over to cut his cable and smash his DVR.

Saw, Ishtar, and it's time I will try to renegotiate back from Death when he finally comes for me.

Alright, because of this thread I pressed play for Norbit on HBO on demand. I got to the part were he tried to carry his fat wife into the house after their wedding. That movie is dog shit. I can see that its all dumb racial and fat jokes. Fuck Eddie Murphy.

I've never even heard of this Eddie Murphy flick until I heard people bashing the hell out of it. So I watched it and thought it was a good movie. I liked it. I laughed and even watched it a few more times. Not the best, but def not his worst movie.

Sometimes a cornball flick just works. This one did the trick for me.

The end.
