just got home. mommy and young connor michael are doing well. baby was a few weeks early (34 weeks) so he'll probably be stuck at the hospital for a few weeks. he's large for how early he is at 5 lbs 6 oz and because of that he's better than the usual for being a preemie. thanks to all for their well wishes and thoughts. it really means a lot.

this is the advice i give to all new parents.

at times, it may seem so overwhelming.
but millions (and millions) of other parents have done it. if they can, so can you.

also- her body has gone through such trauma, and now starts the healing period. the hormones in her body are going bananas. she may treat you like a chew toy for some time. its just the hormones talking. swallow it, dont fight back.
