Blake Lively's "introducing" type of performance was as Bridget in the film version of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants ... which is sort of the preteen girls' answer to Stand By Me as in it's a "coming of age" type of story about how close friends are growing up. IMO, she was as perfecty cast as Bridget as America Ferrera was as Carmen.

Apparently, there's a sequel currently in post-production, so if you have preteen daughters you may be taking them to see it this summer or fall.
