Good morning everyone.
Crazy here in Times Square this morning. Strolling in, unaware of what happened.
Hey, what's going on? Bomb? Oh, ok... excuse me, gotta get to work.
How things have returned to normal. I remember when a fire alarm emptied the entire area and everybody ran home. Granted it was unsettling times, but now we got a bicycle bomber (who may have struck twice before) and no one flinches.
Somebody post a bikini babe.

I thought that Pepper Hicks usually goes for the obscure.
The most often seen criticism about Earl's music choices have been that he plays hits that you would have heard all the time in the glory days of WNEW.
That and the songs have to have some connection to whomever has a birthday or death day on that day.

The vaccinations that we had here are not of the same strain.
I have an infant daughter so I'm a little nervous.
I'm not sure there's a reason to get excited. According to my brother, the reason for the "outbreak" is that within the last year, they have created a new influenza test that can determine it from just a mouth swab. Everyone coming in with symptoms gets the swab.
So he thinks the true numbers haven't gotten up, but now they can accurately figure out who has it and who doesn't.

That reminds me that almost two years ago, a close friend died suddenly. At his funeral, they played that big Rascal Flatts song that was big at the time. Can't remember the title now. Has to do with a guy letting a girl get away I believe, but now I associate it with my friend.

and the greeks had many words for love:
erao - erotic love
phileo - friendship love
etc.

Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears
The light in the window is a crack in the sky
A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye
A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back
The man in the dark will bring another attack
Your momma told you that you're not supposed to talk to strangers
Look in the mirror tell me do you think your life's in danger here ya
No more tears
Another day passes as the night closes in
The red light goes on to say it's time to begin
I see the man around the corner waiting does to see me ?
I close my eyes and wait to hear the sound of someone screaming here
No more tears
So now that it's over can't we just say good-bye?
I'd like to move an and make the most of the night
Maybe a kiss before I leave you this way
Your lips are so cold Idon't know what else to say
I never wanted it to end this way my love my darling
Believe me when I say to you in love I think I'm falling here
No more tears
