When you "people" die, the jokes won't even resonate with anyone "significant".
All accomplishments are fodder when you're an internet nothing. Laugh it up, Fat Boys!
I suppose we'll pass on the compare and contrast of lifestyles...
Death is final AND hilarious.

in my defense, i assumed you meant this fellow:
http://hatchesmagazine.com/blogs/Flyosophy/files/2009/04/charlie.jpg
He created a lot of controversy for himself when he claimed to be the first openly gay professional wrestler. Not for the fact of coming out, that he made a statement that even though there were plenty of other pro wrestlers who had come out before him, he was the first to perform at the level that he did to have come out and not just be some indy jobber (even though at the time he wasn't employeed by a major company for at least 4 years and was just performing in the indys himself).
When he was at his peak in the WCW days, he was an innovator and pretty entertaining as Mortis and Kanyon.

Publicist Steve Rohr, who represents Carter and her husband, actor Hal Holbrook, said Carter died Saturday morning. He would not disclose where she died or the cause of death. Carter and Holbrook lived in the Los Angeles area.
"This has been a terrible blow to our family," Holbrook said in a written statement. "We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy."

Peter Steele Dead
TYPE O NEGATIVE keyboardist Josh Silver has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the band's frontman, Peter Steele, passed away yesterday (Wednesday, April 14) at the age of 48. No official cause of death has yet been released, but it is believed that Steele died of heart failure.
According to unconfirmed reports, Steele had been ill for days leading up to his death.
Mistress Juliya (a.k.a. Juliya Chernetsky) of Fuse TV broke the news on her Twitter page last night, stating that she spoke to TYPE O NEGATIVE guitarist Kenny Hickey just before midnight New York time, and that Kenny confirmed that the rumors were true.
Back in 2005, many people were shocked when they logged on to the TYPE O NEGATIVE web site and saw a gravestone with the words "[P]eter Steele - 1962 - 2005 .... Free At Last" carved on it. According to Epinions.com, there were rumors at the time that Steele was sick (with anything from cancer to AIDS), was on his deathbed, attempted suicide ... and the list goes on. Needless to say, it turned out that Steele was very much alive and the gravestone was merely a joke, albeit one the wasn't viewed as being in particularly good taste.
Steele was born Petrus T. Ratajczyk on January 4, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. He stood 6' 7" (201 cm) tall, and had a low, bass-heavy voice, which was one of the most recognizable features in TYPE O NEGATIVE's music.
Before forming TYPE O NEGATIVE, Steele played for the metal group FALLOUT and the thrash band CARNIVORE.

Weird but true story:
Many months ago this guy moved into a house with his girlfriend in Dingman's Ferry, PA in the same development as my friends. He lived down the road from them.
He had a lot of "problems" and then one day just kinda disappeared. No one is quite sure where he went. Rumors were he was in the Wilkes-Barre or Scranton area.
I actually never met the guy but my friends actually met him several times and hung out with him once or twice.
Word around was when he wasn't blind drunk he was actually a pretty nice guy.
Had to googly Mistress Julia. HOT DAMN!!

DETROIT — Ali-Ollie Woodson (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hAqaOwUXQ2Y2QZYuiXefDciby9lgD9G1US801), who led the legendary Motown quintet The Temptations in the 1980s and '90s and helped restore them to their hit-making glory with songs including "Treat Her Like A Lady," has died, a friend said. He was 58.
Woodson died Sunday in southern California after battling cancer, Motown Alumni Association President Billy Wilson said. Wilson said Woodson's wife, Juanita, told him about the death Sunday.
Woodson was not an original member of the group, which had several lineup changes since it started in the 1960s. But he played an integral part in keeping the Temptations from becoming just nostalgia act.

One thing that really doesn't get enough credit I think: his famous "Pyramid of Success" pre-dates all that Franklin Covey, Seven Effective Habits, Tony Robbins crap. And it's so much more practical. RIP Coach.

Maybe he wasn't so great after all? (http://www.boston.com/sports/columnists/pierce/2010/06/no_my_dear_im_a_very_good_man.html)
This wasn't just journalism. This was a burial job. Greenberg and Littwin detailed how Gilbert fashioned a comfortable life for the Bruin players, supplying them with cash, cars, and in one particularly pungent detail unearthed by the two reporters, abortions. Gilbert began his relationship with UCLA in the middle of the 1960's. This coincided roughly with the beginning of the astonishing run of championships under Coach John Wooden, who died this weekend at 99.
Make no mistake. Sam Gilbert was an authentically dangerous man; one of Wooden's successors is said to have feared for his life, if the NCAA ever investigated Gilbert's relationship with the program. But UCLA was protected always by its influential athletic director, J. D. Morgan. With Morgan dead and Wooden in retirement, the NCAA finally got off the stump and belted UCLA with a two-year probation. Sam, on the other hand, was indicted for money-laundering four days after he died.
I was around the universe of college basketball at the time, as an undergraduate, and the funny thing is that almost everybody in that universe knew about Gilbert and UCLA. Jerry Tarkanian, then at Long Beach, and beginning his career as the sport's pre-eminent brigand, never shut up about it, and he wasn't alone. Once, the late, great Abe Lemons was asked on the radio what he thought of John Wooden's famous "Pyramid Of Success."
Wayull, Abe replied, I could get me a Pyramid of Success, too, if I had Sam Gilbert buying me the cement.
"I was not asked back on that program," Abe laughed, years later.

Manute Bol, one of the tallest players ever in the NBA at 7 feet 7 inches, has died at the age of 47.
He died of a rare condition called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, a skin disease he contracted while in Sudan on a mission to fight corruption in the country.
I'm bummed. He always seemed like a really cool guy, and he'd been doing some good work trying to help out in Africa.
RIP, big guy.

Sucks....I loved the guy on those bad 90s Sixers teams...they were god awful, but at least Manute was always a fun guy to watch.
Definitely seemed like one of the genuinely good guys in sports on the surface...he supposedly donated almost every cent he made in the NBA to humanitarian and refugee efforts in the Sudan...that's why he showed up on the Celebrity Boxing thing a few years back, because he was broke, and why he kept doing stuff like that.

Maury Chaykin
Actor Maury Chaykin died early Tuesday -- his 61st birthday -- according to CBC.ca. The cause of death is undetermined, but the veteran actor had been struggling with kidney problems.
Though you might not recognize Chaykin's name, you will surely recognize his credits. His IMDB.com entry lists more than 150 projects in a career that spanned film and television, including 'Dances with Wolves,' 'Nero Wolfe,' recent Canadian sitcom 'Less Than Kind' and several films by director Atom Egoyan, including 'Where the Truth Lies' and 'The Sweet Hereafter.' Chaykin even played Harvey Weinstein, or rather, Harvey Weingard, a character based on Weinstein, on HBO's 'Entourage.'Chaykin was a Brooklyn native, but his mother was Canadian. He studied at SUNY Buffalo before moving to Toronto in the mid '70s, where he remained while maintaining a career on both sides of the border. His death drew accolades and tributes from his peers.
His scene in Dances With Wolves was one of our favorites in college, with lots of great lines and acting. Just watch the way he moves that quill!
I've just pissed in my pants! And nobody can do anything about it!

I'm sure only hard core tattoo enthusiasts would know this name, but...
John Joyes (http://www.winchester.daily-monitor.com/2010/08/obituary-for-john-joyes/)
John was raised in Surrey, England where he completed his tattoo apprenticeship with his mentor, Lionel Titchner. He came to Winchester in 1983 to begin his career and founded State of the Art Tatooing. In a short time John became a sought after artist bringing customers from around the U. S. He was a world renowned tattoo artist and affected many people through his art and life.
This guy's work with color was amazing, and it was what he was best known for. He did a tat for my first wife about 20 years ago. The detail and color were outstanding. I wish I still had a pic.

Segway-Tycoon-dies-in-freak-accident-after-riding-one-of-the-machines-off-a-cliff-and-into-a-river
The multi-millionaire owner of the Segway company died in a freak accident yesterday when he rode one of the high-tech two-wheel machines off a cliff and into a river. Former miner Jimi Heselden, 62, plunged into the River Wharfe while riding around his West Yorkshire estate in Boston Spa on a rugged country version of the Segway. He bought the firm last December and was using one of the machines - which use gyroscopes to remain upright and are controlled by the direction in which the rider leans - to inspect the grounds of his property.

Quentin Tarantino's editor...DEAD
Sally Menke, the editor of director Quentin Tarantino's films, was found dead along a Los Angeles hiking trail early Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's spokeswoman.
Police discovered Menke's body in Griffith Park after a late night search using bloodhounds and a helicopter, a police spokeswoman said.
Menke, 57, was apparently hiking with a friend on the hottest day ever recorded in Los Angeles since the National Weather Service starting keep records 133 years ago. Thermometers recorded a high of 113 degrees in downtown Los Angeles Monday afternoon, the weather service said.
Yeah, might not have been the best day to go hiking.

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (AP) - Johnny Sheffield, who played the character Boy in the Tarzan movies of the 1930s and '40s, has died at age 79.
His wife, Patty Sheffield, told the Los Angeles Times that he died Friday of a heart attack at his home in the San Diego suburb of Chula Vista. She says he fell off a ladder while pruning a palm tree four hours earlier.
Johnny Sheffield beat out more than 300 other youngsters for the role of Boy in the 1939 movie "Tarzan Finds a Son!" and went on to co-star with Johnny Wiessmuller in seven more Tarzan films.
He later played another jungle boy, Bomba, in a dozen movies but quit the business after the last one 1955.
Johnny Sheffield went on to earn a business degree and worked for various companies and in contracting and real estate.
