I am sure you are putting things in "mine hiney" while you do the gay steve voice.

i do find myself commenting after people say something "Does it?" or "Do ya?" very sarcastically.

I've been doing this too. It just comes up so often with a Blackberry that you find yourself "scroll scroll scroll-ing" so it just comes out.

I don't talk like Ron as much as I just like to add a few Ron-isms here and there...It don't make you a bad person

I have always done this, even as a small child. I was a sarcastic ass in the womb.

I run a judicial office at a university and find myself saying that all the time. Someone will bring in a case with a student caught smoking weed and I always say "Doesn't make him a bad person."

It don't make you a bad person.

I definitely do the "chick" thing. Then again... I've been saying that since I was 12, and I didn't even have a chick yet. Do say "don't make ya a bad person" tho. And "hey buddAy." hmm.. and sometimes I put that emphasis on the "ay" that he inserts into the word "ass".

I too say the "Don't make ya a bad person," but the other one I notice I really picked up was referring to women as "darlin'" when I talk to them. It took me a while to figure out where I got it from until I heard ron do it on air one day.

Is that a Ron-ism? Because I say that too. Guess that's where I got it from. Unless Ron got it from me...

Each time i see a monkey wearing a suit, i like to say (in a disarmingly charming manner);

"hey you, why are you wearing a suit? You're not going to a meeting!"

Yes, I've been holding my "S's" and some other consonants. I've just begun doing it the last week or so, even though I've been listening since they came to XM.

Yeah, i find the go-low and "uppercut, uppercut, uppercut" move is partcularly effective.

I've also gone "Hm", smacked my lips and let an uncomfortable silence hang in the air for a few seconds sometimes while some person is talking to me then pauses to hear my response but I generally think their point is shit. It's very effective at disarming them before I "rip the tits off" as they say in the Big Leagues.

Sometimes I hear myself saying "that's insane" and always think of Ron. I also say "soary". My favorite is saying "when I say____ I really mean____". For example "I really think you're funny and by funny I mean retarded."

When someone in a converstaion I'm in gets uncomfortable and can't think of how to join back in the conversation, I find myself saying "Right back, Ron and Fez show." It gets weird when I end up in a tiny room smoking a cigar near an open window. I don't even smoke. :smoke:

I don't find myself speaking like Ron Benington, but I do speak like Ron Wood sometimes. (usually at the end of a long night)

Been listening to R&F just short of a year now via XM. Love this thread and had to post. I find myself singing these damn Sleeve's (if that's the correct name) ditties around the house. Couple of weeks ago I had that damn "NEW, pease hode", rattling around my head and was singing it at home. My wife asked what in the hell NEW was. I could only reply that it was a Ron and Fez thing. She knows I spend a lot to time listening to 202 at work with O/A and R/F, so that answered her question. To bad life doesn't work in the same manner...it would be nice to explain anything away by tossing out a "It's a Ron and Fez thing". Problem resolved.

WNEW was Ron and Fez's radio station in the early 00's, where Earl also worked.

And if you like Sleeves' songs, check the Atoms, Motions and the Void forum on how to order your own Sleeves' cd.

In a staff meeting I told the Department Director:

You had me up till the point of bringing on two more engineers, and then you became the mayor of crazy town.

It's a laid back department, and everyone got a kick out of it.
