Dear Oracle,
Why are the Walmarts so fucking ghetto? Is it that hard to put together a "one-stop" store with reasonable prices and something that resembles a form of customer service?
Please help me.
Thank you.

I bought a rotisserie chicken from a super wal-mart a few months ago and when I got home, I realized that it only had one leg. I looked around and saw that someone had eaten the other leg and stuck the chewed bone under the chicken.
Try to stay away if you can..

Why are the Walmarts so fucking ghetto?
Because they are located on the periphery of the ghetto and people who live near by shop there.

Wal-Mart is getting a lot better believe it or not. They are adding a lot of classier stores, more selection... etc... what is not good is that they are letting their really bad stores go. They realize what they can and cant change - which is what they focus on. I live between two Wal-Marts - and you wouldnt know the two of them are owned by the same company. What I will say though is my good Wal-Mart is better than any Target I have ever been in.
Target is much better at keeping their brand clean in all stores, but there is definately a cost to that. They just don't compete price wise.

WalMart treats their workers like shit, why would you expect them to treat the work place any different?

I'm so happy there are no Walmart's in NYC. They completely destroy local competition and replace them with low-quality jobs.

Say what you like about Walmart, it's still a thousand times classier than that fucking shithole Dollar Palace.

I laugh at my neighbors who shop at Walmart and then complain about the state of their local community.

just because McD puts flat screen TV's, ambient lighting, classy music and a nicer decor up does not mean that the Big Mac all of the sudden turns into a gourmet meal...
same for walmart...

Walmart not just for the ghettos anymore...............Because you should see the White Trash that i see in the Walmart here in Ohio.
I will take some pictures of these trolls and post for you all because it is both sad and funny at the same time, as Walmart on Friday is the place to be here in Troy

When we went to the Poconos we wanted to go buy some food and beer and our only option was teh Walmart. It was a Friday night and that shit was PUMPIN! People were hangin out in the parking lot and everything. Walmart was the place to be on a Friday night there and it scared the living shit out of me.

I have never had a problem shopping in Wal Mart. I never go into ANY store with hopes of anyone answering my questions or helping me out with more than getting stock and checking me out at the register, so I have little disappointment.
It's not fancy, no. But I get what I need and I go home.

After reading some of the posts in here more closely, I get the feeling I may be shopping at some of the nicer area Wal Marts. I usually will shop at the one near me in Riverdale, NJ. I also frequent the one in Matamoras, PA and occasionally the ones in Franklin, NJ and Newton, NJ as well. Out in the middle of nowhere Wal Marts. Maybe ones closer to more urban areas are worse?
The stores are not skeevy and the stock is usually there. I wouldn't go there looking for anything too high end, but it's great for everyday clothes, some food, personal care stuff and assorted bullshit.

Its the only real store in my hometown of 18000 people..I live across the highway from it so I'm there a lot..It is horrible!!!:furious:..Went yesterday to get some grass seed parked by a big dodge dually that had in the rear window..Been there Roped that.....Im so sorry everyone ....I cant help where I was born.....:flush:
I have two of the most hideous Wal-Marts around bookending the area I live in.
I never shop there for a few reason
a) It's not cheaper
b) They don't carry good products
c) dirty
d) dirty people
e) drain on the economy
Call me elitist...I don't care, it's true.
And the whole thing about Wal-Mart being cheap is bullshit. I can find everything cheaper online, and a lot of stuff I can find cheaper or the same price in other stores.
There's only one real plus to shopping at Wal-Mart, and that's if you're looking for a lot of different stuff. Instead of going to five stores, chances are you can find it all there. But I rarely am in that situation when I shop, and even when I am, it's worth it to me not to go there.

I've gone to the local Walmart a few times because nothing else was open. There's alway two cop cars parked at the entrance. Go figure!

That one is nice.
That's all I have to say.
That and I like going to the trashiest stores. It's like I put my life at risk with every step down the aisle with the randomly placed items.

Everything in that fucking dump is made in china, and it is still looked at as some great american success story by the obesely hayseeded and the blindly patriotic. I stopped shopping there when I realized that it made me sociopathic to just be in the parking lot. The ammunition isn't even cheap.

Unfortunately, everything everywhere is made in China now.
