Change is a good thing and Bobo has had an abundance of it in the last 12 months. It still makes me very sad the way things went down last summer. The show has always attracted "experts," and most of them seemed phony or they have a website to promote or they are just dull compared to Bobo's continued expertise at living life. Movies, music, politics, relationship, art - Bobo is the real fucking deal, and the life he's been living since then remains interesting as hell, and it is something i miss hearing on the radio.

Regardless of what people think, Bobo didn't want what happened off the air to ever be mentioned on the air - and regardless of what some people said, he was not lying. As a person who has dislocated my shoulder, I can tell you that, even after all of this time passes, you are never 100% and you never forget that pain, even if someone rubs up against you, much less man-handles you - so, I don't get how someone else, many years younger without the medical history of Bobo, with their back to Bobo & CSK, would suddenly be more trusted.

The highlight of the (Spooky Movie Film Festival (http://www.thespookymovie.com)) schedule surely will be Saturday’s 11:50 p.m. showing of "Der Golem," a 1920 silent movie. Baltimore musician Bobogolem will provide a live score, playing upright bass, banjo, violin and theremin, among other instruments. - The Washington Post

Anyway, I'll miss his posts here too, but Bobo is still very accessible through MySpace and Second Life and ya never know - a lot of friends do come back around now and then.
