Real or Fake Christmas Tree

What do you use? Usually, I hate fake trees, but since it didn't rain for the past three months, I don't trust a live tree to last too long this year. So I used our fake one.

Real is the way to go.

But I'm not getting a tree this year. I'm the only one that's gonna see it, so, fuck it, it's too much trouble.

fake trees for me. this year i have a little charlie brown tree, because my apartment is so small. but it's very cute, and more importantly, the cats can't climb it

I used to have a cat and he ate some tinsle off the tree and he tried to poop it out and it got stuck so he was running all around with it hanging out of his ass until I had to pull it out.

Real trees are the ONLY way to go. My family has had a real tree for as long as I can remember, but for the past few years my mother has been pushing for a fake one because its less hassle. My father and I won't let her get one because in our minds it isn't Christmas without a real Christmas tree.

my family has had the same fake christmas tree for 20 years (it's as old as i am) and it looks almost as good as if we just bought it, plus my mom loads it up with so much crap (lights, ornaments, etc) you can barely see the tree anyway.

I love the real ones. The smell of Christmas that I'll never forget, is something you'll only get with a real tree. Although Yankee Candle's "Christmas Eve" comes pretty darn close. We started getting a fake tree about 5 years ago. This year we threw out the first fake tree and bought a new fake tree. It looks beautiful, you would never even know it's fake.
