As for qualifications, i find Obama's inexperience (which translates to less time being corrupted) his strongest qualification.

You know, my feeling is that the Presidency is such an overwhelming, intense job that there's no way you could get any sort of experience for it. It's all a matter of whether or not you have the character and capacity to handle the job.

Political experience does help, but doesn't really get the job done.
