"Ethnic" attraction

Do you find yourself drawn to certain "ethnic" types? I seem to have an opinion of prettiness that not every other man agrees with. I was trying to figure out why. I wonder if others feel that they could be drawn to others because of some kind of internal programming. I think mine might be because my ancestors came from a certain part Italy, and I think that some features appeal to me in ways that other features do not.
Not that I do not see the beauty in other ethnic types, not at all! I am attracted to women of almost every race.
What I mean is, sometimes I see a woman that I consider attractive, and when I ask other guys what their opinion of her is, they seem to think she is "plain".
Are there certain types that seem to strum a special chord within you that are beyond the usual definition of attractiveness?

I hope no one takes this out of context, I am not trying to imply the beauty of one type over another.
