I work in a VERY casual, non-corporate environment; think of it as the board with a union. Anyway, we joke around a lot and the expletives fly since it's a high-pressure business (printing). I'm one of the few women who work there and I've established myself as "one of the boys."

Anyway, I have a great supervisor. He's cool under pressure, is on top of things, and great to work with. He's funny and sharp. We're always joking around but sometimes he talks to me in this sly, quiet sort of way when the jokes broach sexuality. My reply is always a [joking] reference to HR. Today we were joking around about Good fellas and I said something about Henry's Goomar (I KNOW I didn't spell that right). He says, in that sly quiet way that I could be one if I wanted to (he's Italian). I laughed and mentioned HR and he says, "You may be laughing but that's not the answer I want to hear." I casually told him to fuck off. The guy is married and has a 9 year-old daughter!

Just wanted to tell that story. I'm not going to let it affect my work or the relationship I have with him. He's always professional and I don't see it as being a problem. I think he threw the lure out there to see what would happen.
