I say instead of worring about a stupid bet, you try to put your efforts towards the show. We all would give them a wash if they show some passion to what they do. If you put your thoughts towards your priorities, then your mind cant consume you. Have some time to think? Think about a bit. Write a Fezatorial, put together a few rejoiners. this sex bet and the ronnie wood bet are the two biggest dissapointments in the rnf xm history. the common participant in both events is earl. both bets were built up for long periods of time and both had huge stakes. both fell flat with not even a comedic pay off to the fans. i am pissed (not that i would watched these men have sex together, but i wanted something to happen after months of build up)

I agree with this in theory, but this is a "special" case. The way this ended was horrendously disappointing, and IMO fans have a right to vent a little bit.

What I was looking forward to was some creative or funny way to get AROUND the bet. I envisioned fake photos, Fez with an "I love poon" story of his exploits, delays because they didn't determine the exact calendar to be used, SOMETHING that would be funny and entertaining.

This is the best idea Ive heard so far. Fez offered to pay 5 grand off the bat and I think Earl "negotiated" himself up to 12 grand before the negotiations stalled. $17,000 can produce one hell of a bar night. Either that or a personal check for $50 to the first 340 listeners.

i think this is the first time Mr. B was responsible for a no-payoff bet. he brought up the bet. Fez and Earl agreed, but they were sort of pressured into it. i think Ron knew from the moment he suggested it, neither would have sex before the deadline.

as for how the bet should be paid off, if i knew how to produce great radio, i'd work in radio, instead of just listening.

at any rate, the whole situation doesn't decrease my love of the show.

Faildozer didn't bring any funny to the table during the entire bet.

I have no idea how they should resolve this bet, but I think it should payoff with something for ALL of the listeners, not just those in the New York area.
