I said it to my wife, she said "oh yeah, it is", and I got to feel smart. Good times.

My thought was Walter didn't want to free Bell because of when he took over Liv's body and almost killed her.
This was the unsexiest time of the series.

Yeh but that was a diff timeline so I don't think that exists here or that Walter knew
Sounded like in this version bell doesn't die like we see and he does something to Olivia prior to the rest getting ambered

wow
can't believe they killed Etta but I guess it was necessary for plot reasons
I'm curious to know if well ever find out why when they collapsed the entrance they just came right back with a new one
maybe they can make multiple ones or just that as soon as its done it instantly happens in future and even if it took them years to figure out what to do when they come back it's only seconds to Peter and Olivia

Finally decided to watch this season and have now watched 4 episodes. Im really liking this last season and the whole dynamic with etta has been touching. hate they killed her off - for now.

I'd 100% agree although the show now is not the same as it first started out as but I guess in a way it's good since they knew it was ending and it wasn't just solve a case and no new shows anymore

I agree. The story lines and episode flow in Season 1 don't really fit into where things are now. I don't think this is a bad thing since it is neat to see how the characters act in this new world but it definitely is not the same show.
That being said I liked this week's episode a lot.

I watched, I enjoyed the series from beginning to end, it was pretty cool how they used everything they had learned along the way to cause a complete reset. Nice when a series gets to finish the story, rather than just get cancelled.

the other thing I'm trying to understand is how Walter no longer exists in peters 2015
Walter goes into the future from a future (2037) that no longer exists so why wouldn't
he just reset like everyone else?

because the future of the future no longer existed so the past would have to reset to reflect that

it's still bugging me about Walter
they were all alive in 2015 and after invasion get ambered at some point , wake up in 2036 and from there Walter goes to 2167 with Michael which changes the future and then the past so if Olivia Peter and everyone don't get invaded and later amber themselves Walter should be there as well
I'm sure there's some explanation why he's no longer existing in 2015

they explained it (and quite well and better than any time travel show before) that nature hates a paradox. See Walter would be living those days, weeks and years in 2167 and beyond,he couldnt possibly be living those same days weeks and years in a different era (2015 and beyond).

I think the part that still confuses me is how then does he exist up until 2015? If he was erased from the current timeline, then how did he exist up until that point?

that was when the invasion occured and when it didnt happen thats when time reset itself,is my understanding

if I'm understanding d spy basically he's born in the 1950s lets say lives to 2015 disappears from that time but pops up in 2167 to live out whatever remaining years he has
so it's almost like he got ambered for 152 yrs
cause for everyone else in human kind the invasion nvr happened and no me remembers
but for Michel and Peter it did happen
my whole problem is anything they do in past is immediately known in 2609 so they shouldn't exist ever ( observers ) but I get it that we are watching from Walters and peters view not time itself

yes because theres always been observers but they dont invade till 2015 (when they become the occupiers)which is what the whole reset was about, the anomally child is from even further in the future which is what the observers will become, higher thought processesors with emotions

I thought that as well
cause even though thy didnt invade earlier then 2015 the only reason they were there in first place was bc of their time 2609 being fucked beyond repair and if Walter changes the future with Michael then that future no longer exists and no need to send observers back to find the best time to start over
