Dear Mom -
I am going to build my own kick ass compy and I "think" I want AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ 3Ghz CPU so should I spring for the shiney sparkley nVidia nforce 790 chipset or the 560 for about half the price. I think I'll plug in a Geforce 9600 GPU (but no SLI).
So tell me why/if I should consider Intel instead... And, how long before this set up will be * yawn *, yesterday's Pentium III.
I plan to run Vista 32 bit, probably some games like COD4, but nothing too crazy, kinda a just because you can do it kind of project.
