Just saw this story (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,363427,00.html)on FoxNews about controversy started at Seattle Mariners baseball game where two lesbians were asked to stop making out at the game because another fan was uncomfortable with the display.

The usher, Guerrero said, told them he had received a complaint from a woman nearby who said that there were kids in the crowd of nearly 36,000 and that parents would have to explain why two women were kissing.

Is it really that hard to explain why two women were kissing to kids? Or is the problem the fear that if you tell kids that some women don't like to kiss men, but instead they like to kiss girls, that the kids will go ahead and do it?

The article also says that the two women were groping (which they denied). If that was the case, and it was things we wouldn't want to see a man and a woman do, then fine.

Yeah I read about this a couple of days ago. Sounds like it was a kiss that you might give your chick in a public place nothing to graphic. I think the woman that didn't want to explain to her son why girls are kissing is just a dumb woman who cant handle being a parent. That last part, to me, lends a bit more credibility to the description that makes it sound like they were really going at it. If it's just the usually smooching you see in the "Fan Cam" type shit, nobody should care, but if they're basically making out, that's something that someone is just doing for attention or kicks, gay or straight, and people around them complaining makes sense.

I think it does throw some credence to that theory, but just because she's on that show means that she would never engage in harmless PDA.
